I have to agree. TJ, those are beautiful! The first one in particular really grabbed me (so to speak). She can grab me anytime she wants though. AH, I feel like a broken record praising your photos. lol. Always stunning! I've yet to see one that didn't make me just a little bit jealous. And DB - damn, man! You captured her so perfectly.

Such a great idea for a thread, and really fantastic photos from everyone. Kudos to all of you! Love it!

And your excellent pics demonstrate that admirably! I always think that you can often tell if a synthetic lady is loved from her photos and your gal looks very content!

This one of Monique taken a few days ago could be a contender for this thread...

This has always been one of my favorite lifelike shots of Suzy. Fooled quite a few when it was taken many years ago.

The "uncanny valley ignorance factor" (UVIF) is quite high on some pages here. I'm pretty sure I understand where that stems from (the owner automatically starts to see his doll as real, puts all his imagination in his doll and sees her as much more than is actually shown in the picture), but I hope I'll manage to somehow be able to do both, once I greet Miriam tomorrow, i.e. to accept her as a companion, while still being able to see when a pose looks unnatural, an eye points the wrong way etc.
How difficult it'll be to pose her, I'll only find out with time, and I can appreciate the effort that goes into these pictures even if I often find them unsuitable for this very thread. (And I'm pretty sure that now that I've said all this, I'll soon eat my words and apologise for some pose or some strange gaze I'll give her...)
