These are all great! Can I ask what software most of you are using? Can you get such great results like this with just Photoshop Elements or is the full version of PS required?

I'm using photoshop Creative Cloud, which costs $9.99 a month to use, (I personally hate that concept ). I like the refine edge function that allows me to capture the soft edges like the hair and remove the background in the smaller details. Elements is a bare bones version of Photoshop that I played with briefly that has limitations. So, there's my two cents worth, if you want to "lease" Creative Cloud, go to Adobe's website. I use Photoshop cc ... $9.99 monthly. But I learned on Photoshop Elements.
You can do great work in Elements, you just need the right teacher.

I learned from watching 'How To Gurus' YouTube videos. I won't lie it was very hard for me, but so worth it.

Thank you Swan! The camera angle is important but also the lightning. When I shoot the photos of my Dolls I have to visualize from where the light sources will arrive in the 3D environment.

Here is the last image from part one of "The Dream", the second episode of The Doll Laboratory Stories.



The background is 3D rendered but the characters are 100% Dolls.
