UK Doll Meet 2021 Photos

As Karrot posted recently in his Maddie thread "the UKLDF/TDF Euro Meet fell apart due to Covid restrictions and the usual Venue changing ownership (and therefore Policies)

Thanks to the hard work of a couple of members over on UKLDF a new venue was found in short order and booked up to get something happening. It looks like we found a goldmine!"

For me, everything seemed to conspire to stop me going this year but I'm not easily beaten! My car failed its annual test in August plus the engine had started to surge on runs.....so I bought a cheap estate car to tide me over and at least get me to the Meet and back! However, it had other ideas and before I'd driven it far it sprang a coolant leak in one of its pipes! OK, pour in some radiator sealant....that worked! Then my back started hurting like hell before I'd even got the girls downstairs! I did that on the Wednesday and it almost killed me! Fortunately, Thursday seemed much better so I got them in the car that night so neighbours wouldn't see and Friday morning we were on our way - thank goodness we made it as it was a great weekend!

The venue was self catering and on Friday night pizzas were ordered! Those pizzas were so big some members were still eating them on Sunday!

However, thanks to Tommo who made breakfast on Saturday and Monday plus sandwiches during the day we had more than enough energy to have a great time! Karrot (sorry edit here of course it was Samurai!) did breakfast on Sunday and I think he surprised himself in getting all that great food out!

I got back yesterday afternoon but my back was in agony again after the 200 mile trip so I didn't get the girls back in the house till late last night!

As for photos, I've only just downloaded the 433 onto my laptop so it'll be a while before I can post any as I need to sort and resize them before posting any!

Some UKLDF members actually posted some while at the Meet so we are likely to get some crossover photos here!

Meanwhile, this thread can be used for anyone at the Meet to post photos here!

Edit:- Of course, please be careful not to post any photos with identification of the venue or members in the background!

Fantastic Photos Hollows, I am looking forward to seeing more.

I had a few car issues myself that started several weeks before the Doll meet, when some guys decided to jack my car up in the middle of the night and steal the catalytic convertor from it, I got a small courtesy car provided while it was been fixed, so I planned who I was taking around that, two bodies along with their heads Geri & Gemma and two addition heads that actually were both WM#372 twins, My car was fixed and ready to collect two days before the meet, good job really I had managed to pack a heck of a lot of outfits, shoes and photographic related stuff, it would have never fitted in if I hadn't been in my own car.

Given the rocky start and the circumstances threatening to foul it up at the last minute, I must applaud your tenacity! I think these doll meets, though they may be far from me, are the coolest thing ever and I'll be watching this topic as well. Great to see you gents getting together and your beautiful gals meeting up!

Zoinks! These are great photos- the venue looks fantastic. Love that pub lounge, it sort of reminds me of the officer's mess at RAF Duxford, but newer. These doll meets look like a ton of fun!
