Jyoti just got a new plaid skirt. $4 on eBay! Fits her great and goes perfect with her white button down blouse, white knee socks and black loafers. Man I tell ya, this is one of those outfits that after you put it on her, you can't wait to take it off her again! If you catch my drift....

Ooo la la!! That's the sort of outfit I have on the way for Abby except the skirt will be shorter. Something about a plaid short skirt and knee socks...I dunno.

This is going to be Jyoti's next outfit. Just got it on eBay. $30 shipped from India! Can't wait to see her in it.

I'm loving all of Jyoti's clothes.
She has a real eye for fashion.
When you have a needle and thread, there is so much that can be re-purposed as beautiful outfits.

Thanks, scooter_ca. Actually, the only one I did any sewing on was the pants. Just had to lower and re-hem the waist. The brown tank fit her as is, but was long enough to become a dress. Just do a little tuck thing around the middle when she wears it. The black dress, my wifes old top, just added a shoestring around the waist to give it a tailored look. The rest are all right off the rack. Joyti's very proportionate for her size and really easy to find clothes for. Even bras and undies.

Man I'm bummed! Got an email a few days ago from the seller saying they can't send the Sari I ordered on 25 June because it's damaged. Mind you, on 26 June, they had marked it shipped on eBay. Now 17 days later; it's not shipped! To top it off, I've sent 3 messages to them in as many days regarding this matter and they've not responded to any of them!

The villains! -_-

Not a biggie getting a refund. PayPal and all. Just frustrating looking forward to something and finding out weeks later it's not going to happen. I mean, I've even suggested an alternate sari, but they've not even had the courtesy to say yes or no....

UPDATE:
Good news! I just now finally heard from the seller and we've agreed on a replacement Sari. It's a different color than the other one, but I think it's quite elegant all the same. Being yellow rather than red, it's less likely to stain as well. I did a quick cut-n-paste to get an idea of what Jyoti will look like in it.

Joyti's new Saree finally arrived. Couldn't wait to see her in it. Fits her like a glove. Here's a quick snap. I'll do a proper shoot as soon as I can.

Thanks, Broven. These things are all handmade and the quality on this one is exceptional. Those yellow roses and white pedals aren't a printed motif either. They're individually made from silk and hand sewn! I'm really glad they weren't able to send the 1st one I ordered now!
