What to use to clean shed hair?

Wigs, replacement eyebrows and eyelashes, and other hair related items.

What to use to clean shed hair?

Post by ILuvFemsNlingerie »

I have carpet in my room where I keep my dolls and I find wig hair all over the carpet.

My question is what can you use to remove the hair without having to do it by hand?

Wasn't sure if a regular vacuum cleaner would work or not

Thanks

a good hoover will do perfectly adequately. might have to check the brushes on the roller though to make sure they are not snagging on it.

A regular vacuum will work but you will need to clean the roller now and then to remove the hair which has wrapped around the roller.

I used to have cats, their shed fur would get in the carpet in the back bedroom, where they liked to hang out a lot. My vacuum did a good job picking up the hair, but I found that a shop vac was much better at picking the hair up. A little loud, and took a minute or two longer, but at least I didn't have to unclog the hair from the rollers on my vacuum.

Yeah I have an old beat up Vacuum cleaner so I'll just keep using that.

I thought about the shop vac idea too but I can't remember if my Dad still has his in the shop or not.

Thanks everyone for the repsponse
