Been coming back to this thread to see ideas about wheels for the tripod.

Thank you Swanhealy for the idea, thank you Dodgeman for the link.

Will arrive in a week.

To anyone using my setup
This is what I learned
Use a bungee cord
Always have doll legs straddle tripod leg

Here's a few thoughts on my experiences with the Abyss tripod + CowboyStudio heavy duty tripod dolly. Like swanhealy notes you have to secure the tripod to the dolly somehow. With the Body C, even straddling a tripod leg felt a bit dicy. When using the tripod alone, she really wasn't stable with the legs that close together, and on the dolly it was worse. However, if you use weights (I have a bunch of bags you fill with water to weigh down lights, reflectors, etc. - it's the black bag labeled "photoflex" in the picture). a couple of them do the trick so you can, if you are careful, set her between the legs, but be really careful and double check everything! Also, the back support wasn't in the right place in this config so I used some foam to protect her butt.

I think this has potential - very nice for positioning, but I don't think I trust it yet. I think I want to get more weight further back, and a better way to lock it down to the dolly.

Looking good yeronda thanks for the update and some definite considerations to keep in mind there! You don't want to risk a $6000+ doll for anything!
I have had a nice time today with my Real Doll stand, I have the place to myself so I have Jade posed next to me standing and looking incredible, Danielle is slouched on the bed watching, it is a very nice scene! Even just to hang out with Real Dolls are such great fun! The biggest problem is who to cuddle up too?

I think the stand is a great thing to have if you don't want to put hooks all over your house , I have one for her bedroom.

Could one of you stand owners help me out? If I were to build a doll storage closet (a body D on the stand) what would the minimum dimensions need to be for the doll to be clear of the walls as well as the stand foot print. How many inches wide by inches tall do I need for permanent stand storage (feet of stand as narrow as is safe). I won’t have mine for months but want to get discrete hidden storage taken care of asap.

I'm not totally sure on that, but I do know my Body B's can do it and they are roughly the same height as some BT's. There is a lot of adjustment with these stands.
Best thing to do is flick Abyss an email and ask them, they will know for sure (sorry I don't have a BT doll).

Parts

Image

Does anyone know if you can buy the back pad and the top piece with bolt anywhere.

Those two attachments can be used on the speaker stands, just a few holes need to be drilled.

I have two spare speaker stands I have modified. Would be nice to just set the doll up on the stands
without having to move the pad and bolt part as well.

Any help in finding would be greatly appreciated.
