Although all of the RD body types are very nice, of all of them the B9 did the most to get my hormonal juices flowing.

Heavy hootered dolls will always have a valued place in Dolldom because they appeal to a significant percentage of potential buyers looking for a doll. The problem is that these dolls have traditionally tended to be the heaviest and, because of their ponderous boobs, the most difficult to maintain.

However, I am confident that these problems can all be overcome with enough creative engineering. Already we are hearing about dolls whose boobs will use embedded air capsules to lower boob weight while maintaining squeezability and the weights of dolls are steadily coming down.

I think we will all be VERY amazed at the dolls that will appear THIS year and next. Despite the loss of the B9, this is truly one of the best times in to be developing an interest in obtaining one's first doll....

B9 is not the heaviest type according to brochure-statements, B3 is considerably heavier. I see the most difficulties that the gigantic boobs are to make that they retain their form if possible also over a long time.

And: For my Doll, it was not simple to obtain the size 75 E (German size) bra's. I needed longer time to find a shop offering this size in different implementations. Even bigger cups as "E" I didn't find on that occasion either.

I believe that B9 will return in a newer and qualitatively better implementation.

Dollscrazy, please stop saying that we are going to be retiring B3, B8, and B10. This is not true. We are retiring the B9 for the following reasons:

1. Doesn't sell well
2. Gets damaged much more easily than any other body type
3. Too difficult to manufacture (those boobs make pulling the doll out of the mold much harder than any other doll body)

We do not have plans to reintroduce the B9 in the future, even after we finish making all the dolls weigh less.

Amanda.... It's only my opinion, nowadays in 2009 with the modern technology which we have... A dolls who furthermore of 100lbs is a major handicap and you know very well! Your gone a say to me, that they are your best selling dolls at present? And whatever slimming course you give to them, it will not remove the 40-45 lbs which they have of excess... Personally, I do not believe in it, that's my point of view! Your competitors has at present dolls which have a total weight which is between 60-80 lbs... If you ignore this fact, you would not stay in this business for a very long time!

That's a shame, but you have to do what makes sense for your business. An enhanced B9 would have been my preference, but I suppose I had my chance.

I love monster mammaries, always will, and B9 was an exciting concept when it came out for many of us. I remember touring the Abyss factory several years ago and seeing it, along with all the other types. In pictures of B9 I went "wow" but in person, B9 was really just too big for me (and I think porn star Minka is just about the right size!). I felt then and now that B3 was the best balance for a big boobed and nice ass dollie, but it is too large and way too heavy for me to use.

At that time I decided a B5 would fit the bill and if not, go for a B5 with the breast enlargement feature. It was B5's small ass, and the weight issue, that finally kept me from getting it either (heavy weight and the high fragility was never a good combo for me in a sex doll). Still, I often stilll dream of getting a B5/F11, it's a very hot doll that I would love to have.

I'm glad I got a RSSD Lollypop, it only weighs around 10 lbs and is great for sex. I will definitely look forward to getting a Ruby 13 foamy when it comes out (hopefully at 40 lbs or less). I hope Boy Toy comes out with a megaboob doll, the smaller size of Boy Toy should make it possible, a kinda Wendy Whoppers or Brianna Banks size doll, petite except in the chest area! If they could get the price down around the Ruby 13 range and increase the mouth's depth (5 inches should do it, instead of the current 4), I could go for a doll like that with the soft inserts (a very yummy masturbatory aid!) - it was an excellent idea to use soft inserts on the Boy Toy, I stuffed my Lollypop with them.

Farewell B9 - a monument to mammaries (and the great ass of a B7). Thanks for trying so hard to please us Abyss, and thanks for feeding into our unusual psyches, it's been alot of fun watching the progression in this hobby brought on by the good old capitalistic competition going on.

I wish Abyss wouldn't eliminate the B9.

Perhaps it could still be offered as a special order, for a slightly increased "handling" fee, or something?

If the B9 is eliminated, busty doll lovers will be alienated by Abyss, and will have to look to other companies to meet their needs/wants.

Kharma, i guess what you are trying to say is
"thanks for the mammaries!"
Certainly after reading the last part of your post, i was sure you were going to end with that!

Thank you for the pic, Sakai sensei. Your B9 is beautiful. Wow, those boobs are really huge. Reminds of those heavy hootered babes in Score magazine. Regarding Minka, IMO she was hotter when she first appeared in Score before she got the breast enlargement to super size.

Hi Amanda,

I'm don't believe Dollscrazy actually said that. In fact his statement was:

Code: Select all

Well, the body type B9 will be offer to ordering for a couple weeks from now... So make your order fast, if you really like this body type! In the case of body type B10, B8 and B3 retiring gone a be only at the end of 2009...
Dollscrazy is French Canadian and unfortunately translation doesn't always come through perfectly.

His statement above is actually a conditional statement. "In the case of" would have been more accurately translated to "Just in case"

If you look at the context of his discussion he is essentially saying that weights of dolls have been for the most part on steady decline adn he feels that customer demand and technology is phasing out the heavier dolls. I also know he holds both RealDolls and BoyToys in high regard.

Sometimes the language barrier can result in conflict where conclict never existed. I recently joined the French Doll Forum where out of respect, I prefer to write in French, however poor it may be. I also check my French with a translator and then Back Translate. Yet after all this, I am sure my posts appear more like the English Version of the French Taunt in Monty Python's Holy Grail :)

If you haven't seen it, you should. It will give you a great insight LOL

BTW, The French Forum has greeted me with nothing more than the best of camaraderie and is an inspiration tome to both better my French and to perhaps make my documentary available in French as well.

Au revoir mes amis :)
