What can I say? There are lots of pretty girls on TDF but every once in a while a truly special young lady shows up and makes us all fall in love with her. Congratulations to Nirodha on the arrival of his beautiful girl and also to Irontech for making such a stunningly realistic doll.

I think there must be a lot of Tomb Raider fans in China because Lara Croft seems to be the inspiration for 90% of all doll bodies.

I used a nylock nut on my doll's hip joint, no messing with adhesives, it was very tight going on, I'm hoping it stays in place. Phil That's what I used the first time I tightened Sam's hip joint and it worked loose within a few weeks, which is why I recommended metal epoxy to hold the nut in place...

After tightening you will need to fix the nut in place with some adhesive like metal epoxy, or the joint will work loose again in a matter of weeks.

Hi, what you have there is tpe separation. This would normally occur after a period of time when the material has lost its oil but the process can be speeded up significantly if the tpe is left in a stressed condition, especially in warm conditions. If the doll was 27° to start with I wouldn't bother heating her. I'd want to see how quickly and evenly she heats from more like 15°. Doesn't it get that cold in China?

Typically if we were using heat to dispatch the creepy crawlers into the next life, temps seldom reached more than 130F and then only for about 20 minutes or so. Silicone should be able to handle that. Although, not sure about the glues used to fasten lashes and nails. Also not sure how the surface...

Yes, a beautiful girl-next-door face to be sure but I suspect it's a custom head which is not available from WM.
