Re: Arthur's Court of Adorable Lovelies

Kudos to you Arthur, I for one would be reluctant to be 'out', so to speak.

Oh dear. Seems I have no choice on the WM166C then :( but I'll live with it.

Re: Jotti

I'd just like to say Jotti has reinforced my decision to look at a WM166C/#56, though with a medium/light tan skin colour. A very nice lady indeed :)

Re: 3d printed eyes with quick change lenses

If/when I get 'my' doll, I will definitely like to have a set of the eyelids so they can close, should they still be available. Being able to change eye colour might be something worth trying too. Though I'd settle on one colour eventually, the chance to see how a deeper blue and brown compare in th...

Agreed. Looks good :) though I imagine it takes a bit more effort and love to keep looking good.

Re: WM doll 166 cm/C cup - questions, questions, questions ;

I too am acquiring knowledge to make a doll purchase decision. I also have my mind set on a WM166C, but with a #56 head, and in a medium/light tan colour. I also have to learn about care of the doll, what make up can / cannot be applied, what clothing can affect the TPE with marks, etc., etc. A lot ...

Re: Skin Tones of Existing WM Dolls

I found another thread here: https://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=85063&start=15 that has some good flat lighting pics of a WM158 with #56 in what looks to me to be a quite dark tan, though I imagine it's just 'tan', so I'd definitely want something lighter. I think I'm settling...

Re: Skin Tones of Existing WM Dolls

When I got my WM, I didn't really care for the skin tones pictured. The dark was too dark and the tan wasn't dark enough nor the right tint for the look I was after. So, I asked my vendor if WM could do something in between for me. They told me to send them an example of the shade I had in mind and...

Re: Skin Tones of Existing WM Dolls

I've just seen, via another thread, the configurator for the WM166C on dollstudio, and that had some pictures of the dolls at the factory (despite being about the 'Francesca' doll). It's useful for making some colour comparisons: http://dollstudio.org/products/doll/wm-dolls/wm-166

Re: Do you like loose joints?

In this day of apps on smartphones, I wonder if it would be possible to develop a 'smart joint' that could be controlled by a smartphone or PC, via a small amount of electronics inside the doll and maybe a battery, or a small plugin in port somewhere? The joints could maybe individually be either 'l...

Re: Skin Tones of Existing WM Dolls

The TDF vendor DollStudio from Germany posted a comparison between the skin tones a while back, in somewhat neutral lighting. Maybe that post can help, if you can find it. Not sure if it is outdated or not though. Found it: https://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=227&t=94347 - the light tan...

Re: Skin Tones of Existing WM Dolls

Also bear in kind lighting makes a huge difference. You can always (and it's not unreasonable) ask a vendor (there may be a small price) to send you a small sample of each skin tone then you can directly compare yourself under your own conditions before committing to the purchase. Any reasonable ve...

Re: Skin Tones of Existing WM Dolls

I found another #56 head version at Real Love Sex Dolls: https://reallovesexdolls.com/170cm-h-cup-ashley/ Again, the colour in the photos is more to my liking, but it may not be the colour I would see in real life. The skin tone there must be tanned when compared to the white bra, but doesn't actual...

Re: Skin Tones of Existing WM Dolls

I think if the pictures are showing the skin tone as lighter than it is, then maybe fair is what I'm looking for. Certainly only a very light tan, as per what appears to my eyes not to be particularly tanned in the 'Ximena' pictures.
