Not a female, but my concern is the tale of silicone being harmful to tpe. I've never experienced it myself, but just to be safe you may want to put a layer of protection in between the two. A condom or cutting a sheet of fabric to size where the first things that came to mind.

Free standing dolls should always have a third point of contact to prevent them from falling over.

Doll weight is no joke. If you plan on moving her around the house, consider buying a rolling office chair.

I always zoom in on the eyes to make sure they look good before I take the picture. Take a test shot too and look at it on a bigger screen. You'll probably find something else you missed because you spent your time worrying about where she is looking.
