It seems like it's the same on a Textile, but sex seems a lot more comfortable with Jewel than Cammy cause the way Jewel's built, when she's laying down her pubic region's kinda pointed slightly higher due to her butt being huge. I actually am using the original insert that came with Cammy with Jewel and that insert fits in perfectly lol.
The Textile also seems to have more of a pussy mound than Dagmar, but again, I'm not sure if that's the case across the board or just my custom design.

So it is roughly the same on Jewel then. As it is, I am not going to go all out with a big butt again. I found out the hard way that if you go out of proportions on a single dimension, it will go out of the range of a stated size. Doing that would rule out putting the doll in some really nice tight fitting mermaid or pencil dresses. So this time I gathered up as much information on clothing that Amazon is selling (since that is where I buy from) and I wanted to look up the dimensions to create a perfect US size small throughout. Then I will send those dimensions to Yuri and see what he says.

I am not sure if I told you that I am using a different insert with Eryka? It is a Tomax Venus-Clone. The end on that is very bulbous and the pussy mound is a rather comical thing to see. When Eryka is standing or laying down, it is no problem because of the perpendicular location of her insert opening. But when I bend her over and she is leaning on the bed...that mound is VERY noticeable, even through her clothing. So if you recall that tight MD mini-dress I was talking about? Well in the photo I posted earlier when she is bent over on the bed, you can readily see the protrusion. Now for me, because of her larger butt, the protrusion is great when getting down to it. I don't have to push myself that far in. It is a nice insert and even while Eryka is packed away now, naturally I have the insert available and naturally I use it from time to time without Eryka. It is a more expensive insert, but is is a nice quality. Remember I mentioned that I noticed that Eryka's insert was starting to show scratch marks and areas were kind of 'peeling'? Well, that is not the case with the Tomax insert. I have used it quite a bit and it still looks like brand new. It is definitely a better quality TPE than the insert that came with Eryka. BUT the downside is that it does create that "mound" as the external part of the insert is much larger than the "stock" insert.

Sadly it is sold out now, but there are a couple others in the series such as the Original Venus Real and the Venus Cross. From looking at an inside cross section, the clone seemed most appealing to me. I am happy with it because it is not so tight as the original insert that came with Eryka. You CAN order the Venus inserts in a degree of firmness and they have five levels: Hard, Normal, Soft, Very Soft, Extra (Rich) Soft.

I ordered the Soft and at first I thought I made a mistake as it does feel pretty soft when using outside of Eryka, but inside of her it is perfect. I am glad I got the soft! But everyone's preference is different and it is hard to gauge with your first purchase. But once you get one then you have a reference point. I eventually would like to try the Venus Real. This is one of the many reasons why I like removable pussies. The other is cleaning. It's much easier when you can remove the insert!

Yeah I asked toy demon before and they didn't ship to Canada!!! Argh sometimes I hate living in the cold great north lol.

And I just did a quick search, google, amazon.ca, amazon.com, still no Tomax- not the Venus, or the Lilith series which I heard were also real good!

Yes, Tomax is good, and I am surprised they do not have a distributor in Canada. You will not find that on Amazon as they have only a handful of specific dealers. I think for USA it is only three or four distributors. I didn't get mine from ToyDemon, but they are a very well known dealer here in the US. I got mine from Queen Cat, but I am not sure if they are in business any more.

Hmmmm, that is Odd, Tomax doesn't have a dealer in Canada. Fleshlight is another decent brand, they are more well known than Tomax perhaps you might have better luck with them:

Hello All,

I think I might have found a viable option for Eryka in lieu of her joint problems. To me it seems like the most immediate solution would be to replace her body with something that has a more reliable skeleton. But this would definitely be a custom job as the body would have to be made for her head. Not many companies would be willing to do this.

However, after seeing what Textile Dolls has done for, Privatetai in creating his Jewel doll, it is clear they do custom work. I was kicking it around for a while that perhaps I should contact Yuri, over at Textile Doll and see if he could make a new body for Eryka. So last night I was up to 2:30am in the morning and I took Eryka out of the box and took some measurements of her head and neck. In addition, I wanted to take care of another issue with Eryka and that was her mismatched body dimensions. Since her current body measurements have her at a US size Small on top and a size Medium on the bottoms, I could never put her into a form fitting mermaid style evening gowns or a pencil dress, so I figured that I could give her better body dimensions so that she is a uniform size Small.

So this is what I have come up with for her "new" body:

Textile Doll Custom:

164 - 167cm tall (with head on)

Bust: 86.5cm, 34.06" (C-cup)
Waist: 67.5cm, 26.57"
Hip: 91.4cm, 36"
Shoulder span: 39cm, 15.39"

So by looking at those dimensions, I am looking to keep her bust size since that is what most of her clothing is based on. I am looking to even out the waist to hip curvature a bit to fall more in line with a US size small. I was always put off by her thin arms and I would like to go considerably thicker there. Her thighs just a bit more thicker. With those dimensions, Eryka will still be able to fit in ALL the clothing I have now and she will be able to wear pencil, and mermaid style dresses. One of my dreams is to have her in dress like this:

Same problem with Jewel- her big butt makes it hard to fit a lot of clothes on her to look right.

I know when buying a doll you probably get big eyes (or in your case extra touch) for a large bosom or butt, but in the end, that can prove to work against you when it comes to finding clothes that fit. I knew this was going to be an issue even before I bought Eryka. But I knew I could improvise with two piece outfits. So, while I was able to do fine with Eryka, the thing was I know I wouldn't be able to see her in some really nice and elegant evening gowns, or pencil dresses. Sure I could have had bought a dress that was bigger in the top and fit her rear and then have it altered, but that would add to the cost of the dress considerably. The only other way would be to hope and pray that I would find something I liked that just happened to be pre-altered to her size at a thrift store. But the chances of that were extremely slim. A saving grace came along when I found one of those "morphing dresses" in which you can change the style. So that was the first really full dress I bought for her outside of the Swing dress I got her, which was her first real dress.

What's the difference between a pencil dress and a mermaid dress? I'm guessing the swing dress is the one that flares out at the bottom?

Sure thing, no problem:

Swing Dress: Usually sleeveless, but not always, it can be short and long sleeve too. The top part is fitted and the waistline usually has a belt or pseudo belt. At that point the skirt is designed to flare out from the waist. Many swing dresses do not do this on their own and an article of clothing called a "petticoat" is worn under the skirt part to help flare out the skirt. This style with the petticoat made the dress very popular in the 50's.

Mermaid Dress: Is a long dress that has a top section like any formal gown and again, it could be anything from full sleeves, to short sleeve, cap-sleeve, bell sleeve, one sleeve, or no sleeves. Unlike a regular long skirt dress which usually flares out at the waist, a Mermaid dress is form fitting well past the waist and down the sides of the thigh and then the skirt flares out from the widest part of the thighs. The entire look of the dress resembles a mermaid's tail (hence the name). A mermaid dress enhances a woman's figure lines and shows more the hip contours than a regular dress does. Mermaid dresses are usually very elegant and are often made for high class events, this includes weddings. Wedding dresses can be made in a mermaid style.

Pencil Dress: Again the top part can take many forms and a pencil dress ranges from casual wear to office wear, but they can be elegant too. The skirt on a pencil dress differs in that it is not floor length, but usually goes passed the hips like a mermaid dress does. Many usually stop just at the knee (or a little above), but pencil dresses can go down to a bit below the knee. They never go past the calves though as it would be near impossible for a woman to walk in it then. The skirt doesn't flare out and it hugs the body all the way down the legs to the hem. There are pencil mini-dress's in which the skirt stops at mid-thigh to a couple inches above the knee. The skirts don't go higher than mid thigh otherwise it will ride up the legs all the time. That often happens anyway with pencil mini-dresses and that is why the mini variant is not as common. For me personally, I like the variant that is slightly above the knee, because when a woman is sitting and crossing her legs, the snug fitting skirt just makes the legs look awesome. Since I mentioned that the dresses have a wide use range, but is mostly seen in business applications, many have the appearance of a woman's suit in that they have collars similar to a men's suit and often have thin stripes to accent a single solid color.

Out of the three dresses I explained, the mermaid is the most elegant and beautiful, but it does cover the legs as a mermaid dress doesn't have a mini-variant. Because of their elegance, they are usually the most expensive of the three.

Swing dresses are a little more casual and can be worn for a wide variety of events. They are usually at, slightly above or below the knee so the lower legs are usually showing. They can be both beautiful and sexy.

Pencil dresses can be elegant, but given how form fitting they are, they are more sexy than beautiful as of three styles of dresses, the pencil dress shows a woman's figure off more.

The overall look of a Swing Dress and a Pencil dress could be duplicated using a separate top and skirt, especially for a more casual look or adding more variety, whereas, a mermaid dress is one piece even though there is such a thing as a mermaid skirt, they are not popular.

If you have a lady friend in your life, perhaps she could help you out as she could wear each one of the styles of dress above and then, of course, let you touch the dress from top down and then you can correlate that with what I have written above. Naturally then you take it from that point on as to what styles you find appealing to you. I would think in your case, you probably would find the swing dress and pencil dress most appealing. A mermaid dress is something that is really looked upon and since it is more visual, it may not be your cup of tea. If it is going by touch, you probably would like the pencil dress the most.

I hope that clears things up for you a bit, but if you have a few more questions, no problem, just ask!

Hi, it seems like both of you doing a lot of the talking in this thread own both a Beautiful Doll and a Textile Doll.

Do you have any thoughts to offer about pros/cons of each to you?

Who knows how I'll eventually feel about any doll I finally get (1st doll), though my primary interest is someone to hold at night, and as a way for intimacy (primarily missionary).

And do you have any thoughts about mods I should request for either doll, if I order one of them?

Unless they've improved the Beautiful Doll joints, there's no point even considering her cause she'll start breaking down in a couple of months and you'll have wasted alot of money.
