I've been reading these forums a while and have been trying to figure out how to best pull the trigger. I have to say, there's a lot of good information here. Despite the best advice here and my instincts, I tried to be cheap, and go budget at first. I'm getting a refund, but I did learn some valuable lessons. Mainly, that anything less than 140cm is too creepy to me.

Anyways, I'm kinda looking for some advice. I've spent a lot of time browsing, but can't find exactly what I want. I've seen some budget dolls that I like, but I cannot find the dolls they are based upon. Mainly, this one (same body, just different wigs):

I think they are the 6YE 161cm E cup (but I'm not sure): http://www.6yedollglobal.com/161cm-e-cup-premium.html. My concern with this model is the weight and price. I like big butts (not necessarily BBW), but it seems that all these dolls are heavy and expensive. My main concern is with price and convenience, not necessarily concealment.

To balance the weight and cost out, I've been eyeing this doll: https://reallovesexdolls.com/141cm-f-cup-serena/ Mainly because I'm also a latina lover. Anyone have any experience with this doll?

On Amazon you really don't know what you're getting. That first sour faced bitch is a JY head but I'm not familiar with the body. Likewise the sexond. It could come from any manufacturer but seriously at that price including shipping it looks as though you're wanting to repeat the same mistake you made before. It's simple - you see a price like that and it's clear that the manufacturer, whichever it is, known or unknown, is make'm fast sell'em cheap.

If it's a JY then you'll find that either the ankle joints are loose or the head joints or loose and they're welded nuts so you can't operate on them, and the wrist rotation joints are loose so the hands rotate but cannot be posed. It's so frustrating. If it's not a JY at that price it could well be worse.

Expect to pay near double in the $1600 to $1800 range to start to get a reliable quality doll. Anything less and you'll be annoyed with yourself. Getting a quality doll you'll be proud of her and find her an inspiration. On going for cheap prices there's a thread about "Best Value" in which I've posted http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... &p=1204871 about dolls that make me proud. There's a clutch of posts today all about going for the cheapest prices and that thread about Best Value rather answers many.

I just recently got a 6YE 161cm E-cup gal. I am a big guy so that might make a difference, but I've had no real issues moving her around. I can lift her with one arm and support her with the other, not for extended periods of time mind you, but to move from bed to chair or around a bit, its not a big deal. The ball joint skeleton on the 6YE is very nice from what I have had time to experience so far, just got her Monday night. This is my first shot of her. Best advice I can give would be get the first doll that really caught your eye and get it from an approved vendor. This way you will get what you ordered.

Harem, I'm not looking at getting another one on Amazon. I was trying to find the actual doll. I like that body. The first one I purchase was a 100cm at around 500 bucks. The arm joint broke on the first movement, had a strong chemical smell, and was very oily. I really only need the doll while the wife and I live apart due to work. I thought I could get away with a Walmart brand, even though I know better.

It might be an idea to look at the new Climax 138. Below 150 it is essential to have exaggerated features so looking not like a child

I welcome you predominantly for your clever subject header, but also in the spirit of geniality and all that jazz.

I'll second the pricing quote, as that is where you'll find the best deals for reputable TPE manufacturers from TDF's most active (and equally reputable) vendors. Shopping around is recommended, but the competition is fierce and somewhat unregulated, so maintain discretion when comparing pricing with/between vendors to maximize relations.

Again, for all but the largest and newest TPE dolls, $1800 USD is a good max, and even for the big girls it shouldn't go any higher than $2k. If you're looking for convenience however, then I wouldn't recommend anything taller than 165 cm. Your best bet is probably something between 155 cm and 160 cm for realism, though since you said you like Latinas shorter than that is still pretty realistic. Around 150 cm would be a good stopping point there, I'd say.

I haven't owned a 6YE but I've owned 2 WMs, and 6YEs design is pretty much the skeletal improvement standard doll skeletons (such as the WMs) have been needing for years. I can't recall if they had a articulated finger joints, but those are something to shop around for as well...we all despise "finger pokes." My WMs were still good quality as they are one of the top-dog TPE manufacturers, but companies like CLM and 6YE have been offering some nice alternatives. Altogether, your shortlist of TPE to shop is 6YE, WM, CLM/Climax, OR, and YL. Some of these share the same origin factory, so the differences tend to be more in mold styles than things like structural design or formula quality.

As someone who recently switched to silicone, I'd highly recommend RealDoll (USA! USA!) but everyone knows they are pricy at roughly $6k to start, and despite the supreme service/quality they do come with a few unique limitations (no free-standing models as of yet, awkward natural stance due to mold design). Sanhui and Z-one offer some interesting options and molds, to include busts not found elsewhere in silicone land, and they do come at much more reasonable prices, but you're still looking around the $3000 mark with them.
