Searching forums after I trimmed and applied a hair patch too my gal, after numerous washes, babyoil and cornstarch applications she is getting frizzy, buildup in that area many have mentioned using babyoil too slowy dissolve old glue but is there a better option that won't leave glue bumps or tears in skin. Thinking remove entirely leave bare or buy a new patch and better apply.

When I applied it I only glued edges so I think the porous backing is allowing cornstarch, babyoil to pouch in between seal.
