TPE Glue for JSDoll

After reading a bunch of posts on TPE repair it seems that you need the right TPE glue to match your doll manufacturer's TPE formula. So, if that's the case, who sells the right TPE glue for JSDolls? I can't find any on their website. Any of you sellers out there carry something that will work?

If so, please post a link here so I can order some from you.

Thanks,

JA

JS - do you mean Jinsan?

The best repair is probably melting with a soldering iron

Harem,

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what JS stands for, all I know is it's supposed to be a JS Doll...There is a website, jsdoll.com, but it doesn't have any TPE glue. I got the doll used. The tear is pretty deep. I want to use TPE glue on the bottom and finish the top by heat welding it, but maybe I'll just skip the glue.

From the prices they are not selling genuine dolls and coming from anywhere the TPE may be poor and likely to split again.

Jeff,

It's this doll that you recognized. It has a tear about 3/4 of an inch long on the bottom of the foot where the heel plate of the skeleton pushed through that goes all the way through the TPE to the metal plate.

OK, I am sure my wonderful affiliate will get back to you.
Here is what I think....
I have used Super glue
I have used gorilla glue
I have used TPE glue
On my last repair, I treated the area with baby oil for four day and there was no hard scar by the surface!
This was on a YL doll
IMHO, you could use any deep by the bone.
Bottom line, too much will melt the TPE away.
Perhaps it might be best not to use any glue at all.
Just make sure you use proper protection
I am still w/o a lap top else I would include links, but there s/b one under dolls on general on glue use and one on welding on our insane website.

She looks gorgeous!

I don't understand how baby oil can work as a glue . . .

I'd possibly use superglue at the bottom of the cut and towards the top either standard TPE glue or TPE dissolved in Xylene

Pif there is no missing material a small ampunt of glue on a toothpick will suffice. Clean the area to be glued with some isopropyl rubbing alcohol let stand for a few minutes then apply only a tiny amount of glue/solvent to the end of a toothpick and apply to the inside of the cut and quickly hold it closed it closed for about a minute or 2. Any vendor manufacturer can send you the glue/solvent for a cost. It is worth every red cent to have it on hand when needed

Harem,
The baby oil protocol was used to prevent the hard scarring on top by the surface.
I used the glue on day 5.
The results were a lot better.
