Great Chris. I have friends who have two toilets facing each other in the bathroom. They designed it that way. 
This is just bad habits on steroids.

I steal the covers, and just about anything that isn't nail down. I should say borrow, I give things back when I'm finished with them. The one thing that irks Da Bear the most is the toothpaste cap. Why put it back on if your just going to take it back off again?
