I am posting this topic in Dolls Castle as recently Miracle (the lovely lady at Dolls Castle) asked me a very interesting question.

She asked me if I also did design renders for European type elves as well, as one of her clients, while they loved their doll, they indicated that they had a preference for a European or Western Style Elf more so than the Asian Style Elf.

Now some of you may be like..."i did not know there was a difference...I thought that they were either light, dark or blood elves", but yes there is, as they have evolved their physiology based on what senses they needed to develop to avoid being seen and captured by you humans.

Accordingly...an Eastern evolved elf looks as so....whose ears are more lateral to pick up sounds from her environment as it is so human crowded in a small area.



A Western elf has different ears as her dangers are further way and less human crowded so she needs to have senses that are longer range and less precise



So I sent through my Blade dancer...
who is a fusion of both, but as yet Miracle is not convinced that this style will satisfy the western elf craving?

So accordingly, I introduce the Queen of the Dark elves, exiled Queen Nualia from the game Fallen Thrones.
Who is rapidly establishing herself as a leading CGI adult actress in the alternate adult CGI industry!

YES YES AND HELL YES. thank you. as an elf lover that is exactly what i have been thinking. we need diversity.more pronounced features always been impartial to the bosmer from the elder scrolls. love the ears and the larger predatory eyes

I have noticed these Lateral Ears (Horizontal) on a few Elf Dolls and subconsciously thought that does not look right, being from the Western Hemisphere I am more used to seeing the Vertical Ears,( a better word might be Conditioned ) but if I was given a Choice I would have to say Vertical ears is what I want to see on my Elfs....

Hell yes... huge fan of Lord Aarkvark's work here... especially that deliciously curvy drow slut <3 Kinda sad that they seem to have moved on to other characters

Absolutely no convincing needed for me, if there was a doll modelled after her, it would be an instant buy!

As for the western / european elves... i love ALL elves, period! Both types of ears and body types have their merits imo.
Your blade dancer looks great Anung, that also definitely looks like something i would be interested in buying, provided that she comes in dark blue / purple skin tone as well! The ears especially look very appealing to me, not too big and very sexy!

As you all probably guessed by now... i'm a huge sucker for sexy dark elves lol

I second, third, and fourth that idea! I would buy a Drow elf like Zanny's! I've been planning on getting a WM #160 head for my 155.

I would definitely buy a dark elf doll if a vendor made it as an out-of-the-box doll, but I probably wouldn't take the effort to do all the details and outfits required to do it myself.
