Yes OlmanOz, it may be the case that different plastic compounds are used for the wraps.
From what i read, polyethylene as compared to PVC, does not have anti-fog properties.
I could imagine that PVC-based wraps suppress the humidity between them and the TPR/TPE surface.
In addition, the amount of powdering of the 'skin' might come into effect.

I have noticed that the Phicens do need a lot of powder.
I usually apply it thoroughly before dressing them up.

They get tacky soon when you touch them with your blank hands.
So i always use cotton gloves.

About the cleansing: i agree that a mild water / liquid-soap solution is what would be sufficient.
But i use the same oil- and alcohol-free makeup-remover that i use for my TPE doll.
I however want to clearly mention that i don't recommend using any Makeup removers.
It's only my personal experience with one specific product, and it has yet to be evaluated long-termly.

About using Baby oil to remove stain:
I have successfully removed stains using pure white mineral oil.
It seems that the oil soaks in to some extend, by that it is removing the stain from directly under the skin.
So you shouldn't wait too long before removing it, as i suspect that the stain gets deeper with time.

My solution (maybe weird) was go with white when ever and were ever I could. I got some super stretch white cotton dresses with undies and I put all my girls in those outfits (bought 20 at once, period). I can then dress the girls with other dresses over the white dress and limit the surface area incontact with colored items. It has worked well so far.

Super-stretchy white cotton is not weird, it is ingenious :)

Thanks - These little dresses were also designed for the TBLeague's dolls rather large little asses (oxymoron, lol) so you don't feel like your trying to stuff a 400 pound hog into a pair of ladies pantyhose....

:haha4:

Love the socks and cuffs!! Were did you get them or did you make them??

I admit it took me weeks to imagine that she would be willing to slip into that one though LOL

The cuffs came with the dress.
The cuffs came with a white bikini set.
And the socks are actually stuffed stockings.

Thanks for waking up this thread.
I have been treating phicen Giorgi like a TPE doll. ( Light wash and powder).
So far, no issues with staining, although my usual practice is to keep her naked most of the time.
She gets dressed for a photo shoot, and then off the clothes come again.

Thanks,
scooter.

Basically i treat them like TPE dolls, too.
Even mineral oil can be safely used to clean them.
I once removed some stain that way.
In the worst case, you can use Indigo's stain remover (works perfectly).

But i do always wash the clothes beforehand.

Kind regards

I have just pretty much given up on all stuff that is not either white or red (red stains are hardly noticeable and disappear pretty fast.

I treat my TBLeague as if they were Barbies..I have never powdered nor bother to do anything beyond the one time I washed Renee because of that GD cheap black dress.

To me they seem more like a rubber compound then a TPE compound.

I currently have over 50 Phicens and not one shows any issues or stains.

They are pretty durable of course. No, it is not TPE but something like TPR or anywhere in between...

LR, good to know that one doesn't even need to 'treat' them at all.

Though i ask myself how do you remove dust and dirt? Just with a wet towel?

Side note:
I find it to be comfortable to let them be dressed (with clothes that do not stain of course).
That way, they don't even need to be cleaned (or at least not that much).

Only remove the dust from the clothes and the visible body parts every now and then. Following the 'lazy' course...;)

Ahh..yes. My secret has been exposed many times (not that one! This one)..I never leave them out of their air tight cases. I have several small soft make up brushes to 'clean them' after a photo shoot (I have 4 dogs!!). This is why it takes time between sessions. I NEVER leave them exposed beyond the photo time. Most they ever see the day of light is for a few hours. Now that i have turned my garage into a studio of sorts, and the dogs do not go out there, even less hair in the air.

Hi, I was looking at a TDF post for a used Phicen, then got to looking on their main site for price comparison but also to see what else was out there. I thought I saw somewhere that Phicens are made with silicone. Their site doesn't really specify. Does anyone know for sure? This one immediately caught my eye, but she has a lot of black clothes.
