Afternoon all,

Below is a short video where I overview the new silicone blend for 2017 Doll Sweet dolls.

For 2017 the main improvements come in the non-glossy finish and increased softness of the overall body, it feels something like silicone memory foam.

Nice video, Sate - it convincingly showed the differences between the '16 and '17 models. I'm curious to know if the new silicone is more abrasion resistant the '16 model.

Hard to say if it is more or less prone to abrasions. The silicone does stretch a little better than the previous year's models, and even tears have a harder time opening up more once they show up.

The durability in theory is far better than previous blends, since the silicone seems to be far better at coming back to normal after rough play. As always, it's best to use clothing as a barrier to prevent the simplest damages from ever even coming up and reducing the chances of any major damages to the skin from friction.

Informative as always.

Im a noob here, and I dont know much if anything about silicone, you mentioned the new blend 'returns' better after rough play, my question is a about creasing. As I said I dont know much, but do you think creasing or crease lines will have a better time/turn over rate, 'returning' with the new blend?

My dolls spend about 12-16 hours a day sitting on chairs, and after laying them on my bed at night any creases on the hip and thigh area from sitting will have disappeared within about 1-2 minutes at most.

it's not anything definitive, but right now wrinkles are thankfully not a big concern with either of my dolls made from the new silicone blend.

Good summary. I'm curious to see what the improvements have been. I've bought my 160+ back in Dec 2016 and it's got the firm butt and face. I have a 167 that's finishing up this month, and am looking forward to see the new improvements.

Like previous years, DS silicone has a smooth finish and consistency that makes them feel more doll-like than human. It doesn't feel at all like natural skin since it lacks texture, but when buying a DS doll keep in mind their goal as a company, to make dolls that are flawless companions and models.

That likely includes making the "skin" surface flawless as well, but now also creamy.

@Sate Hey, I was just curious as to what color & head you chose for the 167cm DS Doll you used in the comparison video if you don't mind?

The 167 in this video is in the light pink skin tone with the Kayla CE head. I much prefer the white skin tone, but the regular pink has a vibrant appearance that is fairly realistic in person.

@Sate Thanks for the response, checking out your archives actually made me warm up to the white skin tone especially for more fantasy oriented dolls. I also had another question, does DS still offer the fixed vaginal option and you have to ask for it or have they gotten rid of that in favor of the insert?
