I put in an order today, a few days after my birthday, for a new 167

I have had a 160+ with stiff joints since late 2015. It's still a great product and I have nothing bad to say about it. I learned a lot about how to properly take care of the doll with my 160+. I posted about it a long time ago: http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=67726

I decided to have a go with the largest model this time, the 167, as the proportions look much more appealing than the 160+ (looks more realistic)
I went with loose joints this time to try something new. John says the wrists and neck are still stiff so that's good, at least her head won't be flopping around. So my 160+ can pose while my upcoming 167 would be great lying in bed. Both can sleep in the bed of course

I recently got a DSLR camera too with a few portrait prime lenses. Hopefully if I can get some time it would be fun to do some photos with both.

Hope the wait doesn't drive you nuts at one point xD I lost it after a week and 2nd week feels survival.

Around 1-3 weeks to make and a week to ship. Mine came in three days.

For those who wonder what a 167 pink looks like after it's made here are some photos I got from the factory since it's done. They won't ship it for another month since I'm out of town. This doll took 4 weeks to make. My last 160+ that I ordered in 2015 took 3 weeks.

The pink skin finish looks great from the photos. Will have to check in person but I think I prefer it over the yellow skin I got for my 160+.

Congratulations. In my view the 167 is the bee's knees and no-one will come to regret buying this toy lady for reasons of the doll herself.

I'd go for stiff joints always - DS have got the tension on the joints just right so they're not difficult to move - but if you do decide you want stiff joints having bought loose joints the tightening isn't difficult and the scars can be managed quite imperceptibly. I'll be posting photos about this before long.

That would be interesting to see how it's done.
I have a 160+ with stiff joints already and it's great for posing.
I decided to try what a loose is like with the 167, since most of the time my 160+ is lying in bed.

My experience with loose joints was in between. With a loose jointed doll, the movements will be smooth like a real person. You will have zero issue moving the dolls extremities. Putting the doll in positions (in bed for example) was also easy for me to do. At the same time, it also felt the joints were too loose for me. Certain poses for photos were difficult to do due to her loose joints. Sex would get annoying at times due to the dolls joints being too loose.Overall, the DS tights joints are just right in my opinion. They are not too tight nor too loose for posing and play time in bed.

Some websites say something about 30 kg others say 37 kg...so what´s true?
