#85 fits perfectly
#56 is too big for the body, it looks weird. Which is a shame as i think it's the most beautiful jinsan head :/

I have seen that face look really really good on dolls that height like Begog's Jotti so in your case, it is not the height, it is the body style combined with the height.
The 156 has an adorable petite body.

Yes, i think so too. And with a preview or at least an information that the bigger head is bigger, i probably wouldn't have ordered it in the first place. :/

It's not just an issue of face "style". Its really one of head size... and they are sold in the same category (140cm upwards)

Just because you can screw it on every body doesnt mean it looks good. And a preview would come in VERY handy for buyers. Sorry for splitting it into 3 posts anyway, it was a great purchase and i'm very happy with the doll but OP is right. This tool would be great.

Did your vendor send you photos of the dolls?
IMHO, perhaps this could have been perhaps been caught before the head was shipped.
And body style does make a difference as well.
There are bodies the same height the face would work on because the bodies are thicker.
You are 100% correct, just because it screws on does not mean it fits and here is a good scooby doo clue, doll france has perhaps the best head gallery out there and you will not see face 56 on a WM 156 body

That's an impressive head/body gallery indeed!
I bought mine from onlinesexladen.de which also has a lot of combinations. And also without the 56 un a 156 body. I wanted to try something new and unique. To me this was a big part of the ordering experience. And i wouldn't complain if on these websites there would be at least a little note about the different head diameters so one can have a bit of a reference which adventurous new combinations actually would have a chance of working. To me with a simulator, this experience of trying unique customizations would be the best imaginable approach! I think it would be worth putting in the effort.

And until that happens, if it ever happens, the best thing to do is ask for a picture of the head on the body.

This is not exactly what you are looking for but it is better than most. They have a lot of galleries. If you select a head it will give you links to all the galleries with that head. Might not be the body you want but shows different skin tones and hair colours. also selecting a doll will give quick links to similar size and type dolls from different manufacturers and some quick reference stats.

Id love to create a 3D app that would let you look around your model and customize her with prefab options.
