Hanami - the Cherry blossom festival is due to start in Japan very soon and Cherry Blossom suits her.

Doesn't Hanami mean "Flower viewing"? as in the act of looking at flowers - mostly used about the cherry blossom festival today, but technically it could refer to any flowers.
Another suggestion then: Sakura, which means Cherry Blossom.

Just so everyone knows, this lady is flying off to a friend tomorrow and he told me he would name her that.
