6k for a 6Ye....

I did not want to hijack the other thread, but since you brought it up......I do believe there is a market for higher end dolls. Obviously the under 2k price point is the bread and butter of most doll companies in China, and it is what most consumers are willing to spend. There are those who are willing to pay for quality! 6k might be pushing it, but I think there are those who would be willing to pay for better features.

Eliminate the finger wires! Jointed fingers and toes would be a great improvement I would pay for.
A back bone that has multiple joints for better flexibility. Being able to arch the back would help in many positions.
A hinged jaw that is capable of holding poses.
Closing eyelids.
Permanent make up, tan lines, freckles, shading etc. that does not disappear the first time the doll is oiled down.
Realistic placement of intimate areas.
Attached head. I realize that swapping heads is easier for dolls to be mass produced, but again, I am talking about paying more for a one piece head, neck, and body on a higher end doll.
Implanted eyebrows.
White teeth. Some of your heads are very beautiful, but the flesh colored teeth are a real distraction.
Skin lines/details on the hands and feet.

I understand that for the most part I am being unrealistic in what I want, but again, you did bring it up! Any thoughts?

Closing eyelids is not a problem.
We have special insert to do that.

All these features are possible. Any example for the hinged jaw ?
Be honest, I don't think there is market room for 6K Chinese doll. If there is, not only 6Ye, I think most famous Chinese manufacturers would seize market share. It's going to take sometime for the consumers to accept high-end Chinese brands. Right now it's still not the time.

Btw, among the features you listed above, there is one that will be included in our premium products :P

I don't think people care that much where your company is from on this matter. If the doll is good and has state-of-the-art features, the price will be justified for many.

Agreed. There were several high end dolls I was initially looking into in the $7,000-$10,000 price range. They were based in the U.S., Japan, and Russia. All were platinum silicone, which does seem to demand a higher price. I agree $6,000 might be pushing it for a TPE doll, but I would definitely pay more than $1,700 if the skeleton/fingers were better, the skin detail was better, and the anatomy was more realistic. Do not get me wrong....I do think 6Ye is headed in the right direction and even at this moment, I am torn between several of your models! Like I had mentioned in another post, if only the waist were fuller and not so slender (if you recall my crude photoshop picture) that would almost push me over the edge!

I owned a RD2, while being nice I never could justify 7k for it.

TPE changed the game for me.

I agree people would pay more for better features. Why not have a base model and then add options?

we are adding more advanced features to our dolls gradually and hope one day 6ye can attain the high-end standard in doll industry :)
