Hello guys

This is my first post on this forum, I just registered here and I bought my very first doll recently.
However I bought it from Siliconelovedoll.co.uk, as they seemed to have very cheap prices for luxury dolls like these. I bought what they call a Beverly doll for about 800 Euros.
It's has been almost two months, since I ordered and payed and I have contacted them several times, but they still have failed to deliver. I live in Denmark if that makes any difference.
I am really beginning to fear I wasted my money and this is a scam site, does any of you know this site and know if they can be trusted???
I don't suppose there is any way to get my money back if they really are a scam site?

Hi Phoenix4ever,

Welcome at TDF :glou:

After some research I found this helpful thread:

Okay, thanks for the link, can't say it made me more easy.
Almost 2 months is an awfull long time to wait and yes their communication has been very lacking.
Well I guess the only thing I can do is wait some more and hope they finally deliver.
If they don't deliver I probably won't try to order a doll again no matter how beautiful it may be.

Can you do a credit card chargeback in your country? Paypal dispute?

Hmm I don't know perhaps, but I used direct bank transfer, not paypal.
Guess I can try contacting my bank, if they don't deliver. Thanks.

You may be out of luck, but it doesn't hurt to check anyway. I would contact your bank sooner rather than later - just in case.

Good luck!

Hey,

Sorry about the bad news, it has been a really long time since you placed the order, I kind of have a bad feeling, as a vendor, no order will take such a long time to deal with. You should contact your bank as soon as possible.

Another thing you have to keep in mind is that if some guys are willing to offer you dolls at a very low price, I mean really low, you have to be careful, they might steal other manufacturers' photos and sell their own fake dolls, or just try to get money from you, you should also use safer ways to make the payment(like Paypal), and always buy dolls from the manufacturers or vendors with good reputation.

Anyway, good luck about it, hopefully you can get the doll soon.

Kimi from Doll To China.

Yeah perhaps I was a bit too fast on the trigger, I guess the offer was too good to be true.
I chatted a long time with a support agent before making the purchase to make sure everything was okay, but I guess it was'nt.
I'll go to my bank tomorrow, hope it won't be too embarassing...

sorry to hear this, I was going to buy from them to, so I sent them a message last night had nothing back yet, they don't make dolls mate so they use your money to send for the doll you wanted then its delivered to them first, like a middle man so it makes the doll more money than if you sent for it your self, anyways I will let you know if I get a reply, hope they send you the doll.

I would love to know if you get an answer from them.
I have tried mailing their two e-mail adresses and get no answers from them, I have also left some messages in their chatbox, which they sometimes responds to although it takes quite some days.
Their site is currently "under maintenance, which it has been for at least a week.
Yes I know they don't make dolls, like you say they are a middle man, that's why it might be even more suspicious, but they did mention they mostly deliver in larger scale and not so much for individual private use, so if they buy a lot of the same dolls at the same time they might get some discounts, still...
I won't tell you what to do, but it's probably not a good idea to order from them.

Sadly not.
Don't buy from this site, it's a scam. I have tried contacting them a hundred times and they never answer anymore and it's been 3 1/2 months and they sent me nothing.
Maybe I was naive, but those guys are assholes.

Wow, they can't even come up with an original logo; using the design from Amazon (that curved arrow).

Someone go knock on their door and find out what's up.. probably fake address :/

Glad I found this forum when I started getting interested in dolls. Will not buy from anyone not represented here.
