OR156 B - the doll for professional & marketing photography

I've been using toy ladies for marketing ebay things for quite a while and the time has come to do a batch of new photos for more bits for sale.

Some of the photos below were taken on a Nikon Coolpix whilst others were taken by a Sony Xperia Z3 tablet camera. There are many who make excuses that their camera isn't good enough or that they're using a mobile phone camera but I can only tell the difference really with the filenames.

Thanks to Joyce for divine inspiration in the sculpting of her ladies.

First off we had a power inverter -

Then a Tannoy speaker drive unit

A Hoya 82mm UV filter

inspecting it very carefully

and using the mobile tablet camera . . .

the difference between the mobile tablet photo and the Nikon Coolpix being the larger depth of feild of the short focal length tablet lens camera. The Coolpix is able to throw the chair slightly out of focus - the most subtle of difference.

A Parrot Drone battery and charger

Then a lens

Great photos. I like how you limited the depth of field to place the focus on the item.

;-) Thanks

This is the sort of thing that I look for that in my opinion makes a great doll. It's a real pleasure when a doll can come to life to do such work.

Rose's help with ebay is really appreciated. The lens sold within a blink of an eye of putting it on with those pics http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201746461507

In doing these pics I was trying out differences between a mobile phone camera, a Finepix S9600 and a Nikon D70.

How often to you get more interest in the doll/model than the item being offered for sale?

People responding to my ebay ads do often remark upon my models but I don't get any direct enquiries.

However, these photos go to show that a doll is capable of far more than the rawness of sexual depiction.
