I don't agree gothic! I have the WM168 Nava and yeah she's definitely African looking but how many mixed race ladies do we see without that African look - a huge number! I could name loads of celebrities that have a look like this doll but I don't want the thread to be highjacked by that!

US President Obama is half white and half black in blood..
I think Aida is probably 40 white, 60 black..cos she looks darker than Obama...
She is a beauty!

point taken hollows+fentiman but doll company's are just adding a black skin to a clearly European face not mixed race at all.

Yeah, you are right there gothic, there aren't enough purely ethnic faces and bodies on the market at the moment. Just changing skin colour doesn't really address that. WM have the Nava head and there is also a Latino head but that's about it.

i think if there is a market doll companies should make an effort to sculpt more heads like nava with different body types.
sinthetics had a great doll called Monique that worked with a white and ebony skin tone
