What clothing sizes would I buy for a doll that is 104 centimeters (41 inches) tall?

I'm in no means expert in any of this since I don't even have a doll yet but been researching the subject for my future 125cm doll. I'd like to hear an opinion of someone who has actual experience but will chime in my two cents.

Here's what I've gathered so far:

It depends a lot of the measurements of your doll and the clothing you are looking for. Problem is that smaller sized dolls are not even close to the clothing sizes of the adult selection. After all, the dolls are referred as 2/3 scale dolls. For example, JY-125 doll (125cm) has leg length of 53cm (probably from floor to groin). Whereas a really petite adult girl (155cm) would on average have around 62cm - 68cm length legs. That's at least 16% difference, which is quite a lot in clothing. For your doll, the difference is going to be closer to 33%.

The JY-125 has waist measurement of 40cm and hip 60cm. XXS size is usually WAIST = 60cm and HIP = 86cm. So there's over 20cm difference and XXS is pretty much the smallest size you can usually find for adults.

Short answer would be to probably check the kids section for 104cm sized clothes, as creepy as that sounds. It's not a good answer though as kids clothes are, well, kids clothes and very much look the part. Still, maybe worth checking if there are kids clothes on sale somewhere that look like something an adult could wear.

Better answer is to try getting some stretchy material clothing that is significantly smaller and shorter by itself than when on a person. You need to take account the fact that not only is the doll shorter, it's also thinner than an adult. So even if you manage to find an item that is short enough for your doll to wear, it probably doesn't fit well laterally.

If you want to be sure the clothes fit and like to have more sexy/fetish/anime type of clothing, there are several online stores that sell clothes specifically for sex dolls. The clothes are expensive though and take a long time to deliver.

All in all, finding normal clothing for smaller dolls is a bitch. I'd really like to hear how other people here have solved the problem. I might even save up a bit more money and go for a taller model if this problem is unsolvable.

See here: http://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtopi ... cm+clothes

That should get you started. A lot does depend on your doll's measurements. For example, the Doll House 168 100cm is VERY busty and also has a thicker torso, so she actually can wear some real women's clothing, if you cut it down a bit. Same thing for the WM Doll 100cm, although she's thinner in the hips, so kids' bottoms work better, but she also has an impressive bust and can wear some XS women's tops (especially Asian sizes). The SanHui and Hitdoll 100-108cm dolls are much more slender, so they are probably going to be more challenging, though you might have more success with the tops becasue they're not as physically large in that area.

Good luck!
