Hi GG, love the photoset. Looking at them at displayed size doesn't do them justice. They are something else when viewed full size.

I dont know how the forum compresses the pics from the original size, maybe smaller originals look better in the displayed size. Currently I am using 2400x1600 pixels.
This one is made with 1200 x600 from the same original

I have a third flash installed lighting the moon only. They did not tell me, what they have seen, but UFOs are everywhere

I had the same problem with size of pictures and pixels. My new camera took something like 6000 pixels and I used GIMP to resize them to 3600 by 2400 but they still came out small size in the post! I've now cut the res on the camera and don't have to resize and they're not lacking in quality just in my ability!
DM puts his into the Doll Album first but others have uploaded to another website.

Hi GG, sorry but perhaps you misunderstand me in translation. I was not complaining about the quality of the photographs at the displayed size, just that to fully appreciate them they are best viewed at full size which is easy by just clicking them.

They do come out that size in the post if you use the attachment option to put them in. You can use the img600 or the iborder button and they are much larger but to use these you have to reference the photo to the Doll Album or another website like DeviantArt. The same option to click for full size can be used when they are put in this way too.

If you ever want to have your pictures printed as a poster, you will lack information if you shoot in lower resolution.
For pictures resizing and correction of little errors I use FastStone Image Viewer http://www.faststone.org/ ,a free program which helps also for managing pictures.
Outstanding features are batch renaming, batch resizing, leveling, cropping to name a few.

Thank you for posting the resized the picture: It is essential to see the small light dots in her eyes, it makes them alive. They are not shown in the "attachment" size and I have the impression, the colours are not the same in the "attachment" view.

Hi GG,

I think the forum software resizes pictures too big to a "suitable" size with a default processing, so slight color changes and loss of detail can occur. I think it is mentioned somewhere in the upload dialog. Best would be either resize them to the right size on your computer, or like Mondoon did, reference from the album or even some other webspace.

But I must say, I like your pictures very much. The meet must have been great fun. Maybe I should get there too next year.
