I believe that all these years I wanted to take care of a woman like a doll. In fact, what I need is to love a doll as a woman.
I have to agree. I used to put women on pedestals with catastrophically results. Now I do it literally with dolls and it works great.

This caught my eye the other day too. It’s very well stated, and I relate to it really well also.
There are reasonable psychological explanations for why treating women like princesses is not a winning formula for long-term success, but it doesn’t matter with dolls. And to be clear, I don’t see this as a defect in women. As always, it’s never that simple. That said, it’s nice to be as affectionate as one wants to, whenever one wants to do it. I suppose that applies to all forms of intimacy.
