New Timeline Entry - Cottage Vacation with Daria.

Now that winter is tightening its grip and Thanksgiving is upon us, I better add our summer vacation to the timeline.
We don't own a cottage, so every year we start researching rentals, and narrow it down to one that meets our criteria.
The cottage needs to be secluded, have a sandy beach, and have a flat area for playing volleyball.
A covered gazebo is also nice for eating dinner outside after dark without being bothered by mosquitoes.

Most mornings, I got straight into my bathing suit and headed outdoors.
Today, I'm in charge of breakfast.

Topless volleyball should be in the Olympics. In fact, that should just be the whole Olympics.... days and days of topless volleyball..... Sigh.....

don't forget topless gymnastics and track and field as well.

Keeping up with Daria can be a struggle.
For every timeline entry I create, she does 2 new photo shoots.
I'm catching up with her August activities.

New Timeline Entry - Daria at the Rogers Cup 2017
Daria and I share a passion for tennis.
Every year we head to the Rogers Cup tournament in Toronto.

Daria was super excited to get her tickets.


As usual, Daria is never content just to sit in the crowd.
We saw Daria Gavrilova, Sloane Stephens, and Eugenie Bouchard.


Then we saw Agnieszka Radwańska and Caroline Garcia


I discovered a feature on my camera that allows you to take 20 pictures in rapid succession,
This was great for capturing the serves and combining them into a gif.


That's it for this year. Next year it will be the men playing in Toronto. We'll be there.

New Timeline Entry - Ironing the wig frizzies away.

Daria sports several different hairstyles and colours, but her "go to" style is the original synthetic wig she was born with.
It has been well cared for with regular combing and fabric softener treatments, but it is now getting very frizzy a the ends.
No matter how much it is combed or how much fabric softener is used, the ends remain frizzy,

I did a search around, and found a lady who describes how she uses a ordinary clothing iron to straighten the frizz.
I had never considered this as I automatically assumed it would melt the synthetic hair.
I then searched TDF and discovered some of our members had also mentioned ironing in the past. I had not noticed these before.

CG found this cute steamer at walmart for around $20.00 we will try to detangle my original wig with it when we have time karrot uses steam so we figured we would try it too.

Daria is going through a rough time right now.
She accidently transformed into a small doll when she inadvertently applied Phicen Cream.
It's currently happening in Daria's Phicen Adventure.

She's crying "People are going to forget what I look like"


I won't let that happen.
It was happier times back on Oct 8th 2017 when we had our Two Year Anniversary.

I gave her pearls, roses, and made this Anniversary tribute to her.

OMG...I missed the "Two years with Daria Thread" But this video should be required viewing for all Daria fans. Sooo well done scooter! Congrats on your belated 2nd anniversary may you have many more!
