New and nervous!

Hi all,

Not a doll owner as yet but my wife and I were on the DS site looking as she has arthritis and isn't up to the task these days.
She is however very considerate of my needs and approves of the doll but I have some questions that I'm sure have been asked a thousand times before…

We are pretty much settled on the 168cm (not plus) body with the Jiayi head and pink skin.
As I've been lurking, I have seen a lot of posts about joints and think I'd prefer the tight joints with finger "bones".

Now, I'm wondering, is the pink going to be TOO pink? It's a bit hard to judge without samples. The screen sometimes lies!

How long can I expect this young lady to last? Are there any caveats to care?

Also, I understand that this is not a real woman but I'm really looking for an aid to keep me from cheating. What's the experience like?
It's just a little odd to wrap my head around but seems necessary at this point.

Sorry for running on but any advice or information you all could offer would be appreciated.

I recommended both tight joints and finger bones! I chose not to get finger or toe nails and have no regrets about those. They can be added by yourself anytime anyway. Tight joints allows easier carrying, positioning, and posing should you want her to sit in a chair for good company or a nice photo. She can still be easily positioned for your "needs", so no worries there; some positions are much easier with tight joints. Fingers without bones flop around, and detract from her beauty. My lady's fingers are doing just fine without any damage or pokes. Just use care and common sense.

This is going to be personal preference. I also chose pink and she looks great. She appears as a normal caucasian color to me. If I were starting over, I think I would choose the yellow option though. Not because she is too pink, but because I prefer the yellow color tone. I was given two inserts and one was accidentally yellow color instead of pink, and I preferred the look. Both choices are great, and you cant go wrong either way.

The experience is very good, and you will not regret your decision. Sex with beautiful women in their prime cannot be replicated or beat, but this option is absolutely very good.

First of all fantastic choice! My new DS-168 cm doll pretty much has the same spec's, but with the yellow skin tone. As for tight joints and finger bones. I completely agree with LaDollyVita. Spend the extra money and get those options. You won't regret it.

I completely understand your frustration when choosing the skin tone. When I placed the order for both of my DS dolls. I was also unsure about the skin tone. However, That uncertainty soon went out the door the second I opened the shipping box and lied eyes on the beauty before me. So I strongly believe, which ever skin tone you choose. It will be the right one...

My experience with the DS 168 is fantastic. The texture in her insert will just drive you crazy! Now I don't have sex with my dolls very often. Mainly because I have actually found sex with them to be rather a difficult task. However my new DS-168 is the first doll where I don't have to work very hard to enjoy her. For me this makes the whole experience that much more pleasurable.

Great choice Doc. I have two DS 168's (not plus). The older formula came with a Jiayi and sKayla heads, which I bought here on TDF third hand. The new 2015 soft version has Penny, Tong and Sandy heads. My wife bought me the 2015.

Glad your wife is onboard. Lucky men, we are that.

57 pounds for the 168cm, which is one of the lightest available for her class and size.

Awesome! Congratulations Doc Brown! You did it, you made the plunge! Oh and don't worry about the trembling after you made a doll purchase, it's normal! Especially when it's your first doll. I think you can safely say it's mostly from excitement. Some of it may be from entering uncharted waters and not knowing what to expect. But one thing I'm absolutely sure of. She is going to knock your socks off!

By the way I could not sleep the night I ordered every one of my dolls. Another sleepless night was the day they arrived!

Doc - I see you cancelled your DS order and went with a 140cm TPE doll instead. It's great that there are so many choices and price points to work with these days. I hope your doll meets your expectations. Good luck!

Yes, I did wind up canceling that but I did order one from another manufacturer who shall remain nameless.

The DS dolls look amazing but I got pangs of conscience as we also need a new living room carpet.
After a talk and a bit of compromise, we have ordered my first doll and gotten the confirmation email!

I hope none of you who helped me will take it as any kind of slight. Your DS's are amazing but sadly priced out of my league.

What's important to me is that I have found supportive community and each one of you in this thread have helped me to get started on my way and for that I am grateful.
Even more so that I have such a great line of communication with my Wife.

You'll still see me on this forum but with a sister from another family
