Gents, I hear you on this. I really do. That said, the vast majority of buyers do so for exactly that reason and there are many forum members who enjoy being loud and proud about it. To each their own, particularly in a setting where imagination and creativity is king.

The number of doll lovers compared to doll fuckers is slowly and steadily climbing I think, and at some point demand will create opportunity, and we will see a shift or a split; that is, demand for content and space that isn't overrun by constant "in your face" sex is growing. Anyone who doesn't see it coming isn't paying attention.

That is a fair comment but please remember that being respectful and tasteful about it will widen your range of potential buyers. So the word companion or anatomicaly correct doll would portray the same message and include the doll lovers. Good luck with your marketing technique

Agreed, "fuck doll" is a poor choice of words for a vendor to use, especially on a forum so filled with people whose dolls are much more to them than sex toys. It is not unlike hearing a man call his wife a bitch. It isn't your wife he's talking about, but it is degrading and disrespectful all the same.

We sincerely apologize to people we might have offended by using the words "fuck doll" for this love doll.
These being said, from our perspective when we decided to call this doll a "fuck doll", we had absolutely no intention to disrespect anyone.
People are interested in dolls for very different reasons, and our naming of dolls reflects this diversity.

This is true. Galatogy is not just about being intimate with dolls, it is learning about what the dolls can do, and learning how to appreciate their abilities, limitations and their creator's skills in bringing these wonderful artificial creatures to life. People are enjoying the "anything goes" attitude of today's western culture, and the resultant desensitization may not be offensive in and of itself, but it's still a shame. Just because I can market a doll as a cum dumpster, doesn't mean I should. That said, TDF is mainly attended by guys that want to fuck dolls, so DA is right: "fuck doll" is not particularly offensive to the main demographic.
