Re: Benita's exhibition on Men & Dolls - funding needed

Post by benitaoctavia »

Thanks guys, I didn't see all these msg - but Chris gave me a hint. I will take some pictures from the exhibit and upload as well. Today I had a guided tour around the exhibit, it was well booked, the guest were very interested and I have been told from the festivalteam that everyone knows of the exhibition, if they haven't seen it, they've heard about it, so it's all good. Rita is fine, I checked on her today, people are touching her, but to feel the skin and she hasn't been damaged in any way, so it's fine with me - I can understand the curiosity. Tuesday I am of to Belgrade where they are doing the same exhibit - let's see how openminded Serbia is :) - is there any members from Denmark - I don't need a name, just wondering, seemed to me that some visitors could be doll owners :) Cheers

Hi Chris,
The posters are really impressive (Rita of course too  ) and I hope Benita was satisfied with the exhibition.
Thanks so much for giving us an impression from this great exhibition and to hear how positive it was :multi:

yes, now Kharn is a celebrity, his poster was bigger than all the poster of the politicians trying to get the votes for the parliament elections. :haha4: He shall put his name on the ballot.

Chris
I think Alektra might get elected to Danish parliament over me, after all, she' better on the eyes :haha4:

Thanks so much Chris for the great post :D

It's an art exhibition without commercial intent.

Haha - I am sorry for beeing THAT slow. Anyway, I've decided to send a print to all who donated for the exhibition. You know who you are and can send me a pm with the print you prefer. I will ship them all to Kharn to bring to Wales next month (if that is allright with you Kharn) the ones not participating in the UK meet will have it shipped directly. Thank you. Xx ...Oh, and I am sending a smaller version than the ones from the exhibit - so you'll have room for them

It's really great to see the success of this project!

CONGRATULATIONS to all involved.

Those prints were really big. It looks as though they worked superbly in that space.

Best wishes
