I know a bit of the budget she needed, and I'm quite sure donations are still welcome!

Re: Benita's exhibition on Men & Dolls - funding needed
here we are, ready to report.
First of all greetings from Benita who is very happy about the start of the exhibition. The exhibition is a part of the annual Kopenhagen photo festival and took place at the Carlsberg Hamlageret gallery which is a former warehouse of the Carlsberg brewery next to the Carlsberg adminsitration building next to the former Carlsberg brewery that is used now as a tourist attraction while the production takes place elsewherere. The right wing of the building was reserved for Benita´s exhibition whereas students from the photo school of the university showed there pics in a part of the right wing and in the first floor. Most of the students had their pics presented in containers that stood in front of the building. I had a look at their work as well and I think some of them are very talented as well.
Here you see some pics of the building and the venue place:
As announced the doll Benita got from Abyss was seated at a table at the entry, working as a receptionist. She was christened Anita Nielsen and was clad as a receptionist. Next to her was a column with a little story about Benita´s project. Sorry, I forget to take a pic of that.
Here´s Rita: There was a note under Anita´s note that she´s not to be touched but tchon, who surprisingly showed up too, and I were sure that people would either overlook or simply ignore it. Therefore we positioned ourselves next to Rita during the whole exhibition that lasted from 5 to 8 pm. We weren´t on a mission but were ready to answer questions letting the visitors know that we are doll owners. As you can imagine it was a joyful friendly atmosphere with lots of students and people interested in art in general visiting the exhibition so we had quite a few conversations with people.
Of course some people reacted puzzled, some even disgusted by the idea to have a love doll but these were in a minority. Most people were positive, even more so when they talked with us as we explained to them the whole different aspects of doll ownership, some using their dolls for sex, some as mannequins, other as a replacement for an RG and some even as their wifes or girlfriends.
All people who had a talk with us obviously felt more positive.
Benita wrote to me that she felt the same as she got the input that the people were very happy about what we added to the fantastic pics who, of course, are able to speak for themselves.
The pics I made were made pre-opening so don´t get fooled and think that there weren´t any visitors.
It was a great experiance and I hope some people will be more positive about our lovely partners-in-crime.
I spent friday visiting the town and can assure you that Copenhagen is a great place to visit, even without Benita´s exhibition.
My girls were sorry that they couldn´t come with me and they were even more sorry when I told them that I was unable to shop for them as friday was Constitution day, a bank holiday.
I promised to make good on that soon. You know how babes are, right?
Cheers,
Chris

This one annouced the exhibition, it was placed at a prominent place in town but I probably overlooked it on friday even though Benita said it´s size was 4 x 6 square meters:

Rita says bye bye:
Here´s Kopenhagen´s most famous doll, ähm, statue, for now, the Little mermaid, amongst her many admirers: Some more impression from my trip to the town with the brandnew modern Opera house on the seafront, and one more from Nyhavn.
It was a lot of fun. Thank you very much to Benita, to all the members who supported this project and to Abyss for Rita, and all the "Rita"´s we love so much.
Cheers,
Chris

I guess right now Kharn is known all over Copenhagen
Sacha and Lily are very proud to be part of this exhibition, although Sacha - normally not prudish - was a bit confused knowing that her boobs are shown fullsize, actually more than fullsize
A big applause for you Benita - you did it

yes, now Kharn is a celebrity, his poster was bigger than all the poster of the politicians trying to get the votes for the parliament elections. He shall put his name on the ballot.
