Traum1 I see you have done what I am doing to the breasts...was yours a repair or "upgrade"?

I'm sorry to say but I have seen delamination on one breast. Internal between the gel and the outer silicone skin. The exact same gel insert in Traum1's doll is what I have found. I tried fixing it with a silicone (ecoflex 00-20) injection. That worked, but I had a FF sized breast! I really wanted a B-cup initially.

Delamination here...anybody else see this?

Traum1 those new breasts (I assume you made) look GREAT!!! Your seams are almost invisible and that is very, very hard to do. Can you tell us more?

You are the only one who knew what dragonskin10 was...sneaky! HA!

I see your Smooth-On box on the floor. So...spill it! I truly think what you have done looks great. Can you at least tell us what you did? Did you carefully cut the existing skin, seam that together, and create your own gel insert? That would be the smart thing to do (which is what I have not done, oops).

You're killing us! Can you give us a vid of "jiggle" action? They look great in a picture....but how do they move?

(hey Chris I may need some help translating this for Traum1, I'm throwing out colloquialisms left and right and he really does have a lot more good stuff to offer everybody in this conversation)

BOOBS. Broken boobs. Elective breast reduction surgery. Here's what I have found:

- MD USA's gel inserts delaminated from the outer skin. See above pics.
- Yves suggested silicone (smooth-on ecoflex 00-20) injection, basically filling the air gaps with silicone. Result was FF sized breast that didn't move well and looked ridiculous.
- So how to fix this? I didn't like how big her breasts were to begin with. I ordered a B-cup but Matt talked me into this doll "that was ready and much better". Whatever. I lived with it. So here's an opportunity to upgrade mod my doll
- Kinda disturbing, but I removed both breasts as carefully as possible. I used some shinetsu silicone caulking to seal the gaps between the foam core and the outer skin (buy it here: http://www.burmanfoam.com/shin-etsu-sil ... large.html )

- In the end I need what will essentially be gel-filled appliances (like special effects makeup) that will fit exactly into those empty holes, so just like a real person I took a lifecast (alginate based, NOT "body-double" silicone lifecast material). - On top of the ultracal 30 (you can buy that here http://www.burmanfoam.com/ultracal-30-100-lb.html ) cast chest section I sculpted the new breast forms out of chavant NSP medium (you can buy that here: http://www.burmanfoam.com/chavant-clay- ... 2-lbs.html ). This is the rough sculpt:

- I sculpted the nipples separately, NSP and a simple 2-part appliance ucal30 mold. Cast those in ecoflex 00-20.

- BIG BIG PROBLEM!!! Molds are pretty simple (not shown) but finding the best method to make a breast feel right? NOT EASY. Traum1 this is where I would love some of your insight please...

What I have tried:
- Slush-skinning the close mold (with a vent and a sprue port right where the nipple will later be glued on the breast) with ecoflex 00-20 (you can buy that here:http://www.reynoldsam.com/product/ecoflex/ ). This was done 3 times, letting the previous layer cure about 3 hours before adding the next. I then injected various blends of ecoflex / thinner (silicone thinner, buy it here: http://www.reynoldsam.com/product/silicone-thinner/ ). I pushed it from 50/50 all the way to 25% ecoflex 00-20 and 75% thinner. That basically produces a very sticky gel that is only barely stable. Any more thinner and it won't cure.
- Another method I tried was using the same skinning technique but then carefully brushing in a thin layer of somafoama 25 (buy it here: http://www.reynoldsam.com/product/soma-foama/ ) behind the outer slushed skin layers. Close the mold, slush in a layer of 100% 00-20 to help contain the silicone oil that will be in the gel filling, injected into the mold.

I'm getting the loose jiggle and rebound action, almost natural, but stability of the skin is a HUGE issue. Wrinkles seem inevitable. Mechanically this makes sense, I get it. It's like filling a plastic bag with water (or huge cheap silicone titties on porn stars). It might move well but you will see wrinkles if you pick it up (or the porn star goes doggy-style and it looks like she has bags of water on her chest!).

In the meantime I have made a pair using the standard boring tried-and-true method of making a gel appliance. Slushed skin (again 100% ecoflex 00-20) and a silicone gel (this: http://www.reynoldsam.com/product/ecoflex-gel/ ). It is completely stable and holds the sculpted shape while being soft and a little squishy to the touch. BORING. Here's the temporary breasts I have attached (rough paint job and no attempt at seaming):

So, Traum1, can you please show us how yours moves? That is the challenge, and it makes me appreciate any breasts on a doll that come even close to feeling real. MD's initial felt OK, but not real. BTW the gel in the butt is totally fine.

The trick is finding a combination of skin materials that can transition in firmness down to a core of very loose gel that won't collapse on itself.

Talk about not holding any details back...Traum1 your turn now

Hi Dildoll, don´t worry, I help Traum1 if need be with translations. You are making a lot of changes on your doll. When you are done it isn´t a MechadollUSA anymore but a DilDoll with a Mechadoll skeleton. With all the interesting things that aren´t specifically related to MechadollUSA I wonder if it´s not time to put this in the inventors corner. This subsection doesn´t have too many readers.

Yes, a lot of mods. Unfortunately the breast mod is really a necessary repair from factory flaw. I have let them know about it, hopefully they have fixed it.

I have no clue about how to push this thread over to inventors, can you do it?

I never planned to build my own doll or to completely alter my doll.

This doll was delivered brandnew from the USA and there are two reasons why I did changes no delamination -, but as I have a deal on this doll with MD-USA that I´ll keep I won´t state here why and what I did.

The only thing I changed was to change the whole content of the breasts

for which I used 15 different materials in the breasts of a .de-93114 MD-V15 version

using 10 different materials of the german silicone products dealer Kaupo alone!

I made the breasts a bit bigger, lighter and softer, for the pleasure of my Rosie and me.

Of course she has some big scars from the operation now

A lot of what I did I´d do different now, but thanks to Matt giving me the new MD-USA doll I´d be able to give my Rosie a whole new body in case something would go completely wrong.

Traum1 I think those scars are barely visible, well done!

This whole secrecy on silicone blends, product locations, and your process is bothersome to me. I opened up everything I had done to my mecha, I just wish you were brave enough to go into the same depth of disclosure. You have a tremendous amount of technical talent, share it man.

ALSO the last pics of your post showing the Leeloo 6 show the same issue I had, breast delamination. She looks great otherwise, but there is a defect in the breasts that I know you know how to fix. Can you help the DF members fix this same issue?

I´m sorry to say that your doll isn´t like my MD-USA doll. The way I see it your doll still has the same old problem of the dolls made by Yves Becker, which is way too much oil in the silicone texture which causes a severe shrinking of the silicone filling in the breast when the oil leaks.

A silicone breast is similar to a rubber ball, it needs a sturdy outer shell. The more you pump it up the harder it gets until it burst.

I have analysed the problems of the Mechadolls over the course of several years and just tried to find solutions for them. The test series for this breast!

I can show you which products I used to remake the filling of the silicone breasts
but I won´t tell you the exact mixture of the products and how I build it up., as you shouldn´t give away all your knowledge for free here as well.
