The Doll Forum

Dear members,

a few months ago kharn and Alex Knight came up with the idea to revamp the Doll Matrix and add a database on the manufacturers to it. The idea behind it was to collect as much information as we can get for you, our members, to give you the chance to decide who´s doll you want next. The old Matrix with it´s data submitted from the members is a very important tool as you can have a look at any submitted doll and check the configuration it has to get the same doll or a similar doll of your taste. The database adds information about the manufacturers as when the company was founded, where it is situated, how you are able to contact it and if the company has authorised vendors or something like a showroom.
Another idea was to add a thing like: "my perfect doll" that you can use to decide on your (next) doll as well.
Sadly not all manufacturers were cooperative, but most were, so there is a lot of information to get.

Elle, the Matrix moderator, didn´t like the look of the Matrix anymore as well. It has become a bit old fashioned. So we decided to use a new template to give it a more modern look. And it´s become more user friendly as well.

We will switch to the New Matrix now.
Please take a look and use the Matrix as the instrument of your choice to get as much info on our lovely ones as you want.

I´d like to thank every staff member who took part in the adventure of reinventing the Matrix, especially Elle, who did a lot of work, and hope you really like it.
And if you have never used it before or don´t know what the Matrix is all abou,t it´s high time to change that.

One more thing at the end:
Don´t hesitate to submit your doll to the Matrix if you haven´t done it already. It´s pretty easy, takes just a few minutes, makes you proud, your doll famous and the other members happy. At least that´s what I hope.

I wonder why when I insert my criteria for my perfect doll lovely photos of my very own Aira and Chloé come face to face!

It's great - it's a bit like a horoscope really and tells me that I should also look at a couple of types of dolls I haven't given much attention to

I'm disappointed it didn't come up with a 4Woods as my girls are always telling me to look over my shoulder at their Japanese inspiration and I'm a great fan of some of the 4W ladies I see.

It's going to be really interesting for members to plug in details into the matrix and see what it comes up with. It's a fascinating way of doing the research.

Would it be possible to add the to the link to the owners (I hate that title, as I own 0osik) forum profile ad/or at least where applicable the doll forum profile (like me & my sister Sheeana)?

Now we just need to get more owners to add their dolls. Come on now I know there has to be more than 7 BT3's (but none as chatty as Sheeana)

Still some bugs sure Don't expect too much from "My Perfect Doll" because it depends of the measurements recorded for each body ; but some bodies don't have any measurement recorded (they won't appear in the result), some bodies can have approximate measurements also (typo, not updated...)
Sometime the button "Reset" doesn't change to "My Perfect Doll", i don't know why and you have to close your IE window to solve the problem

In fact if you notice a problem with the measurements of your doll, please post the real sizes in the Doll Matrix official Topic , or pm Brigittes Hubbie or me
