Bought her on ebay she is slush cast. Mehron styling head is what you must type in. Thanks for the compliment.
I really like her for a head.

Someone sent a head cast in epoxy resin. She is perfect for making 100 cm doll wigs on. Just wonderful
This is Hinu bara. She is having sanding done to her face to make it nice and smooth. I love reverse engineering.
As far as i know she is one of a kind and my personal favorite

I picked up two of these at Goodwill, for $3.99! They still have the student's name on the neck. It looks like a latex skin on a harder vinyl form? The latex (?) skin feels a little brittle. I think the hair feels and looks pretty realistic. I am not sure what I will do with them yet.

Thanks Sam for the Mehron reference.
Looks like you can buy that closed eye head on their website...

$30 isn't a bad price for one of these.

The cheapest Mehron on Ebay I'm finding is $34.
Where did you find the flawed ones?

My favorite head is "Erika" from Pivot Point international. This head has quite the gender-neutral face so turning this head into a male was quite easy.

This is so cool! I will now have to keep my eyes open for any heads I might find at thrift stores if they aren't over priced. So many thrifts have really upped their prices to the point of it being silly... They may as well not be thrift stores. LOL!

Well I think I have figured out that this head is made by or for "Outre". It IS a vinyl head, but styled very much like a fiberglass mannequin head that is fairly common. Made by the same artist I assume. These heads do not have ears. I could live with that, but the design also does not provide a common lower jaw line either that renders these more artistic than lifelike. So, unforn, I will probably have to pass on it.

I dont know if you guys ever heard of these folks, ( DorfmanMuseumFigures.Com ) , but they make some realistic heads. they're not the greatest ive seen, but far from the worst. i believe they're all made out of Urethane Rubber or Latex Rubber, or both. they have a pretty good selection of different expressions, ethnic choices, , etc. one of my fav's is the brunette school teacher/s......pics below. Check em out at.....http://www.museumfigures.com/gallery.htm
