Good idea,I tkink that a new category for "beginers star here" also can facillitate the beginers to clarify doubts and not make the same questions over and over again.

Okay, so it will reduce confusion regarding the difference between manufacturers and vendors, but what of the dolls themselves? The various subfora are based on the vendors, several of whom carry the exact same dolls, rather than the manufacturers of said dolls like the entire rest of TDF.

Like I said before, we don't have separate fora for Eighth Wonder, the Teddy Babes Store, Lovehoney, Gummipuppen, but rather a single forum for Teddy Babes. So shouldn't the latest crop of C-dolls likewise be categorized? One forum for the plush anime dolls, one for the elf and her kin, one for that new doll that looks like something I'm not allowed to say it looks like, and so on, instead of having the exact same dolls being featured in multiple fora based on which middleman got them from the maker to the owner? That, too, is potentially confusing.

First of all, we don't know the manufacturers name of the various dolls the vendors sell, so it'll be hard to create separate sections for all of them, not to mention, if we did, there would be an increase in vendor posts, because they'd be competing to stay on top by posting in each separate section, which is what people (including yourself) were complaining about not too long ago.

We can't have it both ways...

From what I have seen all of the Chinese sellers are vendors. One seller is listed as Chinese manufacturer and they are not in the China. Its like a free for all for resellers to have there own forum and a manufacturer tag. Happy this will change. I do think the more "venders" that crowd the forum the less the manufacturer will post. When you put TPE doll as high end doll the less people will understand what a high end doll is. High price TPE is not the same as a high end doll. IMO.

Its a good change you are making to not put resellers as manufacturers anymore.

That's wonderful news. glad to hear about the expansion in this area. hopefully this will bring some interesting responses. I would also like to thank the Staff & management at TDF., for a great site. im still learning the ropes, but having a wonderfull time. Thanx guys & Dolls !..MM / EPS.

I am personally looking for my first full size silicone dolls but would like to buy from a genuine source in the UK.

As far as I know, there are no vendors with full size silicone dolls operating from the UK.
Also, most of the full size dolls the vendors sell aren't silicone, but TPE.

Maybe an idea is to have a look at www.dollstory.eu, if you like 4woods dolls, that is...
They're in France, so there are no import duties, and they're having an amazing special till Jan. 31st.
