Thanks and I gave a quick glance. Many nice styles, but I think these are for real women or full size dolls. I'll have to look further, but if anyone knows if any of the wigs can be had for small dolls, L us all K.

Don't worry, most Gothic Lolita and Cosplay wigs are well-made and adjustable. I recommended them because they have great reputations in their traditional niches and thought they might be overlooked as a great resource in the Doll community.

Great stuff! thanks for posting. I am working on an anime custom doll project, where this will come in handy. So much nicer than what i have seen on ebay...

Do you by any chance have a recommendation for a good cosplay-costume retailer?

Wigs are tough to order online, I have already picked up close to 10 wings since I got Bella, a couple I just tossed out after opening the package.

So far this wig that was only 20 bucks has held up the best.

This was 15 from same company, not quite as good but still holding up well compared to some more expensive wigs I have picked up.

Once again same company but a little more money @ 40 bucks but very happy with it.

Cool2Day is the company and here's the link to their Amazon store.

I had bought a bunch from hairsista.com. They have good prices on both synthetic and natural hair wigs.

Manic Panic and Hot Topic sell clip in hair strands great for adding streaks to wigs you may already own, and puppycatmeow on Etsy sells extensions and braid-in pieces and can do custom extensions and pieces too and they come with tutorials. ExandOh on Etsy does custom wigs and extensions too, but some of the wigs get pricey.

Edit: I forgot to add that puppycatmeow has a free color matching service.

Hi Yellowsubmarine, thanks for sharing these links. I'll be checking out cool2day for sure. They are also on Amazon.co.uk. For those in the uk, their store can be found here.

Edit: I just checked them out, and unfortunately, they don't appear to be shipping to mainland Europe. Shame; these are certainly some of the better-looking wigs I've seen on Amazon.

Buying online can certainly be a bit of a pickle. A dearth of proper pictures (lighting) and lack of critical feedback doesn't exactly make things much easier. I spent hours on various webstores trying to find good-looking wigs online and clothes that fit, only to find out that the best-looking of the bunch usually don't ship to the mainland. Ah well, the quest continues.
