Just to note, Pee Wee got a bum rap.

He'd actually been arrested for masturbating in an X rated theatre 1 year earlier but the story never made the papers.

However the second time around he made the mistake of telling the arresting officers who he was and offered them roles on his show. According to the police report he literally pleaded with them as his holding cell door was being shut.

Once word started to spread within the police station it leaked to the media.

But he got a bum rap by having his show canceled before there were even public demands to take him off the air.

Looks like I'll be taking over for my boyfriend Kazuo here on TDF

yeah pee wee sure did get a raw deal. It happend in Sarasota Florida. He was there visiting his mom and dad after wrapping up the last 2 season of the show. Back in the day officers in Sarasota Florida needed to make a quota of arrests. Sarasota was kindof a peacefull lazy place where older people would go to retire so it was kinda hard for the officers to make their arrest quotas. They would hang out at the beach and would arrest woman wearing Thongs in the name of indecent exposure (im not even joking they realy did that ) and would spend their days at the XXX movie theater just siting around all day watching porn and waiting for a some pour lonly man to to start playing with himself so they could call it indecent exposure in public and make an arrest

I grew up with Pee-Wee. I still say "Merci beau-blah!" and one of my favorite words will always be "zzybaluba".

What happened to him was terrible. He wasn't hurting anyone. I don't know how to say this without it sounding like a joke, but if only he had known that internet porn was just over the horizon and it would be possible to have all the fun he wanted without risking getting arrested. Ugh.
