Well HM - high end air dolls are becoming harder to find these days - everything left has to be imported from Europa - which increases costs - sure every now then you can score a hit - but there sure is a lot more misses these days with everything in inflata-land being value to mid range

The Cal Exotics line up came up short - although - I haven't gotten Kendall Karson yet - so maybe theirs hope

That is one possible explanation, yorktown, but I don't think it explains everything. Much of TDF membership is in Europe, and the European members would have no trouble getting these dolls if they wanted one. Also, we are not seeing posts from USA members saying something like: "I'd like to have a doll like this but I am in the USA and can't afford to buy one from Europe."

I think another part of the explanation is that many people bought these high end inflatables back when they could expect to pay about $10,000 for a solid doll. Due to design changes in the last few years it is now possible to buy a solid doll for less than $2,000*. Is it possible that many people are skipping the high end inflatables and going for a low end solid doll instead? Maybe we have not been giving the US companies enough credit. Maybe the US companies stopped selling the high end inflatables because they realize that not many people want them anymore.

Whether or not you want one of these full-sized light-weight beauties for yourself, Ken's posts are good and more people should acknowledge that.

* on edit: considering fabric dolls such as Teddy Babes, foamies such as Candy18, and TPE dolls smaller than 90cm (approx. 3 feet), it's actually possible to get a solid doll for under $1,000.

Not wanting to fan the debate on whether it "tastes great/ less filling" - {old USA Bier TV Commercial} -

But I find that being a regular in the inflata-section - has its ups and downs as far as posters and replies - many who joined when I did several years past and who were very active posters in the TDF and in the inflatables section - moved on or left - not a very surprising thing

I find many who do post - do so simply to ask a question or two and are never heard from a again - again that's very normal

Now many also moved on to different type dolls - be it TPE/ Silicone/ polyester - again that's the usual progression - no surprise again

I would venture to say that the amount of people who - shall we say remain in the shadows - are ardent supporters of all things inflatable and simple like to remain unknown - or as I like to say in the shadows - they have been on the TDF for years - and like to see whats new but stay out of the conversation - I would say that number is very high - just look at how many folks look at posts in the inflatable section VS how many actually post or reply - that number is stunning - thousands have looked on to the inflatable section and that's many thousands too - but they as I like to say remain in the shadow - all kool

I say for those who do post and reply - thank you - and I mean that truly - some stuff like what Boss Ken, H-Mistake, among the many others post are true art work - with lots of time taken to set it all up and take the pictures and post - tip of my fedora to you all of you - - and for everyone else who takes the time to post a story or add a comment or suggestion - great work keep it up -

As far as inflatables go - like the air doll stories we ebb and tide - right now there really isn't much to post about - so far the type of air babes commercially available remains static - with few innovations or charisma to set the folks off to post story over story - so far its mostly we're stuck with brand X or Y and it's simply - just okay - period

We've seen of late a series of modifications of air dolls in the Russian Federation - that appear very promising - so hopefully we'll have some newz on that front
