That pic was taken at Abyss during the LA meet. My first contact with RDs. I was quite impressed.

I thought it was. I've never been to Abyss, but I can imagine it would be a bit like walking into Aladdin's den!

Those are some dolls they create. Zoe posts on here now and I have to say she looks ace.

OK my latest article is now up. It is one of 2 articles posted on Cover Doll regarding Midiman's documentary. MINE is NOT a review, but an inside look at the making of Midiman's doc, "All dolled up".

I'll read the articles, but this post made me think, (and besides that I would love to watch the video Midiman shot, it seems the only chance I have is thru here because the video won't be aired here in Colombia, our local t.v. menu is mainly repeated Mexican soap operas and cheap comedy (some years ago there were good writers behind our soap operas, now...ah and they also air boring reality shows, there's a notorious lack of creativity on Colombian t.v.))

Well, this thread made me think about doll ownership, in my case I told my closest friends and my mom about my wish, reasons and plans for owning a doll and they somehow agreed, it seems I presented some good arguments. And about the people that knows about that part of my life and that in the future will know about me owning a doll I would say to them in case "Lars" come to their minds, well I'd say to them something like "well I'm a loser, call me whatever U want, I'm not affected, I'm who and what I'm am and I'm where I want to be, I lead my life as I want it to be and so what" yes it sounds rude but please bear in mind I'm not aiming it to U but to the people who would criticize me in the happy case I own a doll, and I might say I'm not obliged to such criticizing people because they have always been cheating, rude, dishonest and nasty to/with me.

About doll ownership I think it's normal nowadays, please think about evolution, maybe some day high-end dollies meet the robotics and A.I. and then we'll have another form of life that will cause problems, that will shift our paradigms about life, that maybe start a revolution...does it look familiar? well, that new form of life will also deserve respect, and tenderness and warmth, cares and the other things all entities in this planet need to survive.
