My first post! Love the stories. I'm new to the doll world, too - except for a few inflatables here and there. So I'll show my newbie status by asking what doll Bubbles is (I mean, I know she's Bubbles, but where did she come from?). Keep up the great work!

Um.....actually it is more like poor Beetle. I mean here this promising young rising star takes in this apparently gullible groupie and over night SHE becomes the mega-star. She has the fan clubs and fame poor Beetle goes to a gig and has to listen to the fans chant --- we want Bubbles! We want Bubbles! God help him if she ever gets a voicebox and starts performing! With Pookie as her manager he'll force Beetle into being the guy that carries her instruments and does the driving.
