Very lovely groups, Charon! They do look a bit familiar (~_^), but how could anyone mind another peek at this level of beauty?!

I get furnature at doll meets, on line at Ebay and also Dollmore sell some nice pieces at a reasonable price.

I buy the backdrops from Raintao in China. Most are 1 1/2 meters drop on light canvas and not bad value at $22 including shipping.

Came across this on Ebay 57cm BJD for $300 , they said made in China but which brand?
It says the store is in Texas, Blessed BJD , same prices as Ebay. Anyone know more about these dolls and their quality?

that used to be the "big girl" of dolls ... but not any more

Masterpiece Dolls makes various series up to 122cm tall (48") ... which are getting up into the 1/1 size range for the small children they are designed to look like

Also found something new ish but I find those male dolls are nothing for me, only females allowed 8) ...
It's very cool to see the 1/2 scale dolls. Thanks for the link, but too bad they are all male. :(

There's a company in Japan called Paper Moon that makes life-sized dolls. Most of them look like anime-styled mannequins, but some are capable of posing like BJDs

She's a beauty, but way too mature looking for my taste : )
I more appreciate the designs that look mysteriously cute.

When Volks first came on the scene I thought they were crazily over priced, and their prices would come down, but they have really held their value.. some of the advancements have really blown me away too in just a couple of years the scene has grown so much!!

Volks dolls have held their WAY high pricing ... and their reputation as the "creme de la creme" of the bjd world ... because of their business model

if you have to ask how much a Volks doll costs ... you cant afford it ... they create/price dolls for the rich, and they dont care if any of the mundanes cant afford their dolls

why do you thinnk they put their ONLY store in America ... right next door to the land of the truly brainless rich ... Hollywood ... Volks put their only American store in Los Angeles

and to get the doll you want ... you MUST go to the store in person ... you can get parts and make your own doll if you want ... those they will sell you online ... but if you want one of their featured dolls, with any special options or mods (like your own design for the face-up) ... you MUST go to their store in person to buy/order it ... and for most Americans that will add up to $1000 or more to the true cost of the doll

If you want to have sex with dollfies you can, you need to buy this thing:

There are videos of people using them, not my cup of tea but someone asked.
