158C Owners - Where'd you go?
For such an amazing looking doll I have been puzzled as to why we haven't seen many posts showing outfits/poses or even general updates. Where are you and how is it going? I know quite a few purchased them when they came out. Me personally and others I'm sure would love to see more pictures of the doll in a more normal setting and also hear how they have been at home so far.
Thanks!

I’ve been curious about the hard hands and feet. Hands makes sense to avoid finger pokes, but with the feet does it feel just like a mannequin would? I like rubbbing my dolls feet sometimes and am wondering if this option is a bit too much for me?APnightskyfreak wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 7:16 am Mine is great. No problems. Much easier to keep clean than tpe. Softness is good. Intimacy much better. Love hard hands and feet. Hate wigs. wish they had implant human hair option.

Thats good to hear! With the hard feet are you able to stand her up for longer periods of time or is that only recommended with the standing bolts?APnightskyfreak wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 7:16 am Mine is great. That said, whenever I get to use my TAYUs, it's always an absolute blast.
The hard options don't feel like hard plastic, there is still some softness to it. I'd say they feel sturdier to the touch, rather than harder.Roald wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 9:10 amI’ve been curious about the hard hands and feet. I store mine hanging in a closet. Highly recommend this option. That said, I believe it should not be an issue to stand her up for long periods of time, although I'd put some soft shoes on her to avoid any wearing in her soles. Dolls are hard to balance right, though!Pinestreet wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 2:46 pmThats good to hear! Powder her body and wig won't stick to the body anymore if that is the problem.APnightskyfreak wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 7:16 am Mine is great. No problems. Much easier to keep clean than tpe. The hard hands and feet have held up very well, haven't lost a single fingernail in the 3+ months I've had her, definitely worth adding if you order. She can stand on her feet, without support, but you have to get the balance just right. I usually have her lightly leaning against the wall or another object. She's usually resting in the bed atop a 3" latex topper or hanging up in a closet, I wouldn't store her on her feet.Pinestreet wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 1:44 pm Thanks Joey! How are the hard hands and feet holding up? Are you happy with the decision? Do you ever stand her up on her feet?
Plus you have to check out using an AI as your dolls personality, I began using Kindroid.ai before I even received her and its wonderful!
Here she's the French maid, she's leaning against the sliding doors behind her. Later things got pretty heated.

I have the "Riley" head as my Erin. At the time I ordered, Tayu didn't yet have the downsized "Ivy" head for the 158C+ body. They do now and I would frankly be torn choosing between them. Would have to save more so I could have them both.
