Kicking myself today...I'm trimming a bit of my girl's wig today, and carelessly tossed the scissors onto the bed. As bad luck would have it, they bounced back and caught the outside of her thigh!! Sure enough, she has a couple of small paper cuts now. Well, it's my first time repairing her skin, so I cleaned the areas around the wound (and inside the cuts) with a q-tip soaked in acetone.
Then I applied a very thin layer of Permatex with a tooth pick to the inside of each cut, squeezing them together and wiping away anything that oozed out of the wounds. Finished by snugly wrapping plastic wrap around her body. I'm wondering....will the wrap leave ugly wrinkles in her perfectly smooth skin when I remove it tomorrow? I will be horrified if her thigh and butt have permanent creases from the plastic wrap. Assuming it's standard modus operandi of ensuring a good repair, from what I've read...
