Any hints to install Mannequin fan eyes set?

Hi guys,

I had a set of MannequinFan eyes set in the past, but it was an older model for TPE doll ... therefore easy to install.

But I just got myself a new set of these eyes for a Starpery soft silicon head. Any hints to extract the original eye set? I want to be careful not to tear the side of the eyes since silicon does not stretch that much. Are you guys using some kind of tool to do it or you simply stretch carefully and extract the eyes with your fingers?

I just installed mine in my starpery actually a few times. Just be careful and don’t stretch too much. Something to reach instead of your finger is what I did. Did you get the cartridge (type 4)? There are 5 different styles, maybe more coming because mfg don’t standardize things like the eyes.

Not sure of the type but he made sure mine are fitting the Hedy Starpery head.

Turns out, I simply used a mini screwdriver to pry the eye out gently while I was carefully stretching the eye socket. It was easier than I thought. Thanks for the tips!

I will point out that with the eyes removed, you might want to powder the inside of the lids. It makes moving the eyes and lids (if you used the lids too) easier. The contact lense tool works nice for adjusting and not messing up eye liner instead of using your finger. I use a toothpick now to adjust the eye position.
