What follows is not so much a review, but simply sharing my experience. I'm relatively new to full-size dolls - only owned one before this Tayu 158C+ - a ready-to-ship $1250 "two looks" 158cm, 70.5#, TPE doll, that I've had for less than a year. And before that, a couple of tantalizing torso dolls, one of which I'll call Borealis 2.0, which weighs 54#. While I really enjoyed the TPE doll, 70+ pounds just wasn't working, and, of course, the quality was only adequate. But, it was a great learning experience that led me to Ivy. I wanted all the features of the TPE doll, but at the highest quality, and at or less than the weight of the torso doll. So, is the Tayu 158C+ Ivy worth 4x what I paid for the TPE doll? An unqualified YES - she's the "priceless" part of the MasterCard commercial.
My Robot Doll and Alice were amazing through the entire process. Quick replies to emails; always knew where things were in the process. 33.5 days from order to fun time!
Doll specs/options: Tayu 158C+ w/#7-1 new Ivy, Soft, Oral; Light Pink skin w/Light Tan Areola and Labia; Default makeup; Implanted eyebrows; Dark Blue eyes; M16 head connector; Standard Joints; Hard Hands and Feet/No Studs; #1 Natural fingernails and Default toenails; #3 small wedge pubic hair; Fixed LH 13cm; Ultra soft everything; Back Hole.
Packaging
The box was in great condition. No major dents or openings. Everything taped up. The internal padding is blown-in so it fits perfectly. The wrapping material was in good shape, so easy to cut up for disposal. Doll came with the obligatory accessories.

The doll was wrapped in a nice blanket and it was super easy to take her out of the box. The difference in weight between Ivy and the TPE doll is about a bowling ball's worth, which is major, at least for me. Hands and feet all nicely padded. There were no visible dents, dings, or other imperfections. What struck me immediately was the quality, precision, and detail of the hands and feet. The TPE doll's wire hand skeleton provides an approximation of how a hand works this Tayu hand is something else - right down to the third knuckles.

I was initially interested in the Tayu 148D+ (and still am, for that matter), but there was just "something" about the 158C+ that tipped the scales. The proportions on this doll are just about perfect.

Choosing the head was a bit of a struggle - Riley, Ivy, or Katniss? Ultimately, I decided Katniss might be better on the 148D+, and while Riley is really nice, there was that "something" again about Ivy. But when I saw the factory photos, I almost panicked. They couldn't find more unflattering lighting if they tried, and is *that* the same Ivy in the promotional picturess??!! Didn't want to hold things up, especially with Chinese New Year looming, so said "ship it". Now that I have the doll, I'm amazed at how different she can look depending on lighting, pose, wig, etc. In these pics, the red wig is a cheapo that came with the TPE doll; the two pics with the bra, she's wearing a decent synthetic wig, which is so much better. I'm heading out later today (pardon the pun) to look for real human hair wigs. TPE or Tayu, wigs are my least favorite part of the deal.

About a week after ordering Ivy, I ordered a Coeros Electric Display and Storage Stand with M16, Separate M16, and Sino/EXDoll M8 connectors. I will review this separately in the Coeros forum. For the Tayu 158C+ the stand works perfectly. However, at first, I thought there was an issue with the M8 connector as it just pushed in rather than threading in. A few quick emails confirmed the correct operation. It's super easy to get the doll on/off the stand.
