Well fellas, finally got my factory pics today! Excited is an understatement for how I feel because I think she looks awesome. Thanks to Mishka, blightermighter, JustDude, crazedcat, and the other active members here who went into such detail about their experiences to give me the confidence to buy into Tayu. Special mention to whoever the dude is on Pornhub absolutely railing his 148D and doing the field research on durability that I had concerns about, thank you for your service

Since I’m getting inserts and a head model that is brand new, there’s not much out there at all about this configuration, so in the interest of paying it forward I’m making this thread to share information as it was so freely shared with me. We’ll start with the factory pictures I got today.

I do have some concerns! The big one is I got boltless standing hard feet and they look honestly floppy in the stress test video they sent me (will link that if I can), how hard are the hard standing feet supposed to be? I do see the seamline on the calf in one video so I’m inclined to think they got it right, but I’m not sure how I feel leaving her standing with feet that appear so soft. I know at least a few of you guys have boltless hard feet and I’d feel much better if you could give me some context here as to what they’re supposed to look/feel like.

I wouldn't worry too much. Toes are floppy with the hard standing feet.

Yeah I confirmed with the vendor that everything is right, I was just surprised and didn’t know what to expect.

Agree she looks amazing! I think factory photos are about as unforgiving as it gets but I’m impressed.

She looks fantastic, I know you’ve been a little bit concerned about your order (the model you got, etc.) but I don’t see any planet that you’re not going to love having her around. What a stunner

I keep buying sooooo muccchhhh stuffffff, I had no idea exactly what I was getting into.. still, it’s very exciting. And this thread will also double as a hopefully entertaining glimpse into the experience of a first-time doll buyer diving headfirst into a high-end, kitted-out model with no real idea what they are doing.

Planning to post at least a few pictures and some sort of review, of the inserts if nothing else, I’m sure some people will be curious about that since the clear majority of people seem to pass on that option.

I also purchased a TAYU as my first doll, although I ended up buying and receiving another one before my TAYU was here! TAYU is on another level. You will be blown away.

It’s official boys, she’s in the truck. It’s gonna be a long-ass morning.

I have to go to WORK of all things pretty much as soon as I unload the box, I’ll probably drop some impressions first but I won’t be able to get any pictures together until Sunday.

I know there will be some curiosity about how the inserts turn out, as well as pictures of the new face, so that’s really the focus for me, since there’s already several glowing reviews for the rest of the package.
