ColColt-- yes I found that little shop to quite a nice selection of attractive wigs--- why not we spent a fortune on the doll?

Yes, you are correct in my book. I couldn't understand why the wig selection was so limited for these $1500-3K dolls.

Etsy.com has some really interesting shops that bring some prices down for wigs that actually look full bodied with different colors, waves, lengths, styles so on.

HerWigCloset.com comes to mind

Prices to get something nice are more then amazon cheeps, but reasonable considering the cost of the doll--- the vendors should take notice and make these available.
