Head screw came off - HELP!

Post by sethjames »

Hi there,

I got ambitious with a head position during a photoshoot and the metal ring where you would screw in the connector came off. Anyone know what kind of glue or something to put the metal ring back in there? I’d need it to be super strong as I do have to take off the head to change clothes etc. Basically I need the metal ring to stay in there even with pressure etc.

Thanks in advance!

(the glue seen in the photo is just me trying silicone glue quickly to see if it would work. it didn’t haha).

JB Weld should fix the issue.

However looking at the white foam stuff in the skull, you should reinforce it before using JB weld.
Look over the post HERE (viewtopic.php?t=173114).
It goes over the prep work that you need to do on the skull.

In this case I would first suggest to clean out all the gunk and other stuff to get down to clean skull material.
At that point you can decide to reuse the current plate or just put in a new M16 head connector.

Good luck and please post results.

Cheers!
